((I'll take it as everyone is ready for a time skip..?))
Nicoleta woke just as the first rays of morning crept across her room through the window. It had been the first time in a couple of nights that she had actually fallen asleep in her bed and not on the couch or in the den. Stretching, Nicoleta sat up, tightening her muscles before slowly relaxing them. After the big vampire-party find, she had given the group the past twenty-four hours off. It was well deserved. Nicoleta slipped off her sweatpants and shimmy on some skinny jeans. She traded her soft plain blue cotton shirt for a tight long sleeved one, that hugged nicely to her body. She braided her hair in a loose side braid before heading downstairs and into the kitchen. It was time to get down to work. Between the wrong directions from the sources, the mass amount of vampires and the vampires in the alley, things weren't adding up. When things didn't add up, it was up to Nicoleta to figure them out. The plan was to split the group up. She would take Vy with her and visit their sources while the others would look for the vampires to capture and question. Nicoleta needed to get Vy alone - she needed answers from him and the best way to do that was to separate him from the pack. She put a pot of coffee in before staring out the kitchen window. It was a quiet morning, only the chirping of birds could be heard. Moments like these she wished she could hold onto, no matter how simple they were. She knew the next couple weeks were going to be crazy. Whatever they found out today would change everything.

((XD Vy?))
Sarah woke after the sun had risen, thankful for the slight change of pace- normally she had to get up early and go to bed late (if at all). She smiled, sitting up in her bed, the sheets and comforter falling gently onto her lap. Her wounds hurt, but thoughts of the pain were pushed away, leaving it at a dull ache rather than real hurt. Today, she decided, was going to be a good day. Of course, her thoughts suddenly went back to Alex, to what they had gone through the night before. She was thankful to be alive, but she was too distracted by thoughts of the boy to dwell on it for long. Sighing softly, she stood and grabbed a change of clothes, heading out into the bathroom they shared. It was empty, thankfully, so she went in and turned on the shower, undressing as it heated. After her shower, she dressed carefully and exited, walking slowly down the stairs as she did every day, sitting at 'her spot' at the table again. "Aaahhhh," she said, breathing a sigh of contentment. She didn't drink coffee, but she could smell the brew that the others, probably Nicoleta, had made. "Morning," she said to their leader that was currently standing by the window, looking out of it with vacant eyes that made it obvious her thoughts were elsewhere.
Though he was injured, Jace had awoken before the sun rose, but didn't leave his room. Instead, he dressed in the usual- black fitted shirt, dark pants, boots- and sat at his desk, looking at nothing as he thought. His mind was whirring, memories from his mothers so-called death, of her reappearance, pouring from inside, driving him mad. Eventually, he got things sorted out, put away to think about later. For now, he needed to plan a new way to get at Claudius. God, where to start? He didn't have any leads, and now that Claudius knew that Jace was onto him, he probably wouldn't get any more. He had missed his chance, and now? He would probably never get another. Anger surged through him, the intensity of it shocking even him as he stood from his seat and swiped his hands along his desk, sending everything on it flying across the room. The movement pulled at his stitches making him double over and groan in pain, but after a moment he straightened up and walked to his door, throwing it open and walking out before slamming it closed behind him. He wasn't worried about who may or may not be sleeping. Walking down the stairs, he was a little surprised to see Sarah and Nicoleta there, but he didn't slow. Instead, he spoke as he walked towards the door. "Going out," he said in a dark voice, throwing this door open as well before letting it slam behind him too.
~
William and Lexsa were both already up and about, talking in low voices in the living room. "But, Will, answer me this- how did they know we would be there?" she asked, her brows furrowing as she asked. Will only shook his head, as he had already said that he didn't know many times before. He didn't understand any of it, either- how did Claudius know that the LC's would be there, and how did they know to go there anyway? It was supposed to be a down-low event, one only the more prominent vampires knew about. "I don't know, Lexi. I'm just as bloody confused as you." He stood as he spoke, walking to the kitchen. "And my bloody arm hurts, too. Bloody buggers, sticking me with that blasted knife.." he muttered, opening the refrigerator and grabbing a packet of blood, even though he didn't really need it. Lexi just ignored him, continuing to ponder the previous night. She was still tired, and was thinking about going back to bed.

Nicoleta hadn't heard Sarah come in and was startled when the other girl spoke. "Hi" She muttered as she turned her gaze away from the window, coming back to reality. "Want some?" She offered, pulling mugs out just in case. That's when Jace came storming by. She turned when she heard him, his words taking a few seconds to processes. "Like hell you-" but he was already out the door. Nicoleta gritted her teeth. She really needed to get a handle on that kid. He was starting to get out of control, keeping information from the group, disobeying orders, and talking back. True he was going through a tough time, but Nicoleta was the leader and still deserved some respect. "Make sure no one else leaves." she mumbled to Sarah before stomping after him. Jace was only a hundred or so feet away, by the time she made it thorugh the door and down the back steps. She could easily catch up to the slayer, but an idea struck her. Jace was always leaving, going places none of the other slayers knew about. What if he was meeting up with someone? Someone giving him tips, like how there was a rave two nights ago. Nicoleta kept her distance from Jace, but followed on quiet feet. Whatever this boy was up to, she was going to find out about it. Alex was already awake when the others began to stir. He had gone tracking early that morning and was able to catch a rabbit. Alex let it go though; he only kills things that are already dead. He was treking back in when Jace came out the door looking pissed as ever. He opened his mouth to say something, but thought better of it. He climbed the steps up to the house about to open the door when his cousin came rushing out. "Nicoleta?" He asked as she stormed down the steps. "Nic-" He began again but she shushed him. "Go inside and stay there." She commanded in a low voice. Even when she was whispering she sounded scary as hell. Nicoleta turned quickly continuing on after Jace. Alex sighed and headed inside. He wouldn't agrue, he would let her carry on with whatever silly thing she was up to. Probably off to go makeout with Jace in the woods somewhere. He chuckled at that thought as he headed into the kitchen. "Sarah, good morning." He flashed her a dazzling smile before sitting down at the table across from her. "Mr. Smiles and Mrs. Sunshine seem happy today." He commented sarcastically, referring to Jace and Nicoleta. ((Sorry they're not so good. Crunched for time ))

Violet was woken up by not one, but a series of slams. It was Jace, of course - who else would it be at this hour? Forcing herself out of bed and into a t-shirt and jeans, she groggily walked downstairs and into the kitchen. "Ehh, that son of a [expletive], why's he gotta go 'round wakin' everyone up, 's too early for this [expletive]," she muttered, falling into a chair and resting her head in her arms. Her rambling continued until the words fell into an incoherent mumble. After a while she poked her head out of her arms and looked around with minimal interest. "Ey, did Nicoleta go af'r 'im or somethin'?" She put her head down without waiting for an answer. "Mm, not like it matters anyway. I'm goin' back to sleep, night."
[Do vampires even sleep?]
Daniel came out of his room when the arguing (for lack of a better word, it wasn't really arguing) grew. He had been listening in, but it's not like he really could've avoided it with his hearing. "Good morning," he said, sitting at the table. He didn't say anything else, just let them go about their business.

((I don't know that they sleep, per say, but maybe rest? Know what I mean?))
Jace didn't notice Nicoleta following him, his head too full of things for him to be as careful as he usually was. Still, though, he took his usual route, walking the few miles it took to get to the bus stop. He saw that it was already there and slipped on, not bothering to pay the toll. The driver, now used to Jace and his antics, just ignored it, shaking his head with a sigh as he watched the boy board and go to the very back. The bus stayed there a little while longer ((long enough for her, or not)) before it pulled out and drove them all deep into the city. Though it wasn't designated, Jace stood up and went to the front, waiting there for the driver to open the door and let him out. When the man did, Jace only nodded, jumping off before disappearing into the shadows of a near-by alley. Up ahead and to the left there was an old, rusty metal door with spray-paint graffiti covering it. Jace walked to it, shouldering it open as he did, his soft grunt covered by the scrape of the metal on the concrete as it swung inwards. Now that it was open, the darkness from inside of it seemed to seep outwards, drawing Jace deep within its depths. Grim faced, the boy stepped inside, slamming the door closed behind him so hard that it opened back up a little, letting a small ray of light in. "Mat, Nathan, get out here!" Jace called once he was inside, walking in the darkness to a chair. He didn't need to turn a light on; he was here often enough that he knew his way around, where everything was. "We have work to do," he called again, frustrated by the absence of the two boys.
Sarah watched as Jace and Nicoleta left, almost bowling Alex over in their haste. She was going to say something, but Alex was suddenly in the kitchen, smiling at her in such a way that, not only did she smile back, but her stomach quivered in delight. At that thought, she felt appalled, but it didn't show on her face. Instead, she offered him a smile back and a nod, saying, "Hey Alex". Another person was coming down the stairs, though, so she turned her head to look. "Morning," she said to Violet, who looked rather miffed. She must have been woken up by Jace, Sarah thought. "Um, yeah, she went after him.. I guess we should just.. Wait?" Sarah asked, looking up at Alex. She thought him in command now, since Nicoleta was gone.

Lexi sighed as Will spoke and went to the kitchen, resting her chin in her hand as she thought, her eyes sort of glazed over and her body completely still as she did. When Daniel came in, though, her eyes flickered upwards to gaze at him a moment before she smiled. "Good morning," she said, sitting back up straight as she did. "Hungry?" she offered, as she didn't know how often he fed when he was at his own home. For all she knew, he ate the equivalent of two humans every three hours. She had eaten very little at a time as a human, and it had carried over into her afterlife; she only ate a few packets a week. Will, having heard both Daniel and Lexi speak, returned to the living room with his drinks, sitting heavily in a chair. He sat slouched, his legs spread wide before he moved to sit with his legs up and hanging off of one arm rest, his back against the other. "'Morning," he said, nodding his head to the other man. "Drink?" he asked, holding what he had out to the other guy in offering.

Nicoleta followed Jace to the bus stop. She hid behind a tree waiting for him to sit down before quickly making her way to the bus and slipping on. Luckily, she had some loose change in her pocket and popped it into the toll not bothering to check if what she gave was enough. Nicoleta picked a seat close to the front and slid in until her side was pressed against the window. She kept her head down and her eyes firmly on the window. She watched as the scenery shifted from empty country side to busy city life. The bus made several stops, but Jace remained sitting. Where the hell was he going? Finally, the slayer got off in a more abandon part of town. Nicoleta waited until he was off the bus and in the alley before following. She stood in the mouth of the alley, her stomach lurching. This place gave her the creeps. The bus screeched from behind, and Nicoleta listened as it rumbled away. No turning back now. She sighed before entering the alley, keeping close to the brick wall so not to be seen from Jace. When Jace stopped, Nicoleta quickly crouched down beside a trash can, tucking her knees to her chest. She gritted her teeth at the awful metal scraping sound and jumped at the slammed door. If matters couldn't get any worse, now she was dealing with an angry Jace. The best kind. Sucking in a deep breath, Nicoleta sprang to her feet. Her boots pounded against the concrete as she hurried to the door. It wasn't fully closed and she used that to her advanced. Nicoleta tried best she could to soundlessly open the heavy door, stopping every time it creaked. When she made a large enough opening, Nicoleta squeezed her away through. She stumbled a bit, not anticipating such poor lighting. She cursed before closing the door behind her, becoming annoyed at how easy it was to close. This left her in total darkness. Good thing Nicoleta liked the dark. She felt her way to a wall before running her hand on its cold smooth side. She began to follow it, letting Jace's voice be her guide. Ever so often, her fingers would brush against chipped paint, leaving her to assume the place was starting to fall apart. Not a shocker, considering the rundown neighborhood outside. "We have work to do," she froze at the slayer's word, surprised at how loud they were. She was probably in the same room now - if they were in a room that is. Nicoleta had no idea. She could make out nothing. That only pissed her off. If there was one thing that she hated most, it was the unknown. Then again, that's most people's fear.
Alex pealed his eyes away from Sarah when Violet came into the kitchen. Ah, yet another happy camper. He thought to himself, grinning as she rumbled on about Jace waking her up. He let Sarah do the talking when Violet asked about the others, but was surprised when she turned to him for commands. He's eyes caught hers for a moment. Her beautiful eyes. God, they were so easy to get lost in. Alex mentally slapped himself. "Yeah," His answer was smooth and composed; which was quite the opposite he was feeling on the inside. He wiped his hands on the fronts of his jeans as he shifted uncomfortably in his chair. He didn't know why Sarah was making him so uncomfortable. "I'll be outside." He muttered before getting up and quickly, yet smoothly, making his way out the back door.

Jace heard the sound of the door closing a second time, making him freeze. The boys, Nathaniel and Mattiew wouldn't have been outside, so the only other option.. "Who's there!" he demanded, standing from where he had been sitting and walking towards the door. His eyes, by this time, had somewhat adjusted, allowing him to see a darker shadow than normal over against one of the walls. Gritting his teeth, he pulled one of his knives (the sharp metal kind, not the wooden ones) out and quickly covered the distance between him and the intruder. "Who are you?" he asked, his voice low and dark as he stuck the tip of his knife out until it touched the person, and though he was careful not to actually stab them, he couldn't be sure if it nicked them some. "You led someone here?" a male voice came from the other side of the room. "How did that happen?" It was obvious that the unknown man was more annoyed than angry, but something else was just below the surface. Was it.. Fear? "Christ, Jace, this is bad.." "Shut up, Mattiew, I'm taking care of it!" Jace snapped, obviously not in the mood for games. All of this had happened within seconds and now, standing there with his knife poking into the soft areas of whomever stood before him, Jace pressed himself closer. He wasn't able to see who it was, really, and he knew that Mat and Nathan wouldn't turn any lights on for him, so he didn't bother to ask. He didn't need lights, though, to kill someone.

The way Alex was looking at her, peering deep into her eyes, Sarah felt like she could melt. She was smiling at him, her own eyes locked on his. Rather than being full of love or adoration, though, she was also looking at him with trust and assurance, as though communicating with him that she believed in him. He looked away, though, making Sarah blush a little. She, too, turned her face to the side, her gaze now on the floor beside her chair. Maybe he had been looking at her because there was something wrong with her.. When Alex stood fluidly, she glanced his way for a moment, nodding. "Okay," she said softly, watching as he left. Once the back door had closed firmly behind him, Sarah continued to think about herself. Her hair was a little wavy because she had slept with it up in a braid, but that was nothing new. She had brushed it and her teeth, washed her face, and was wearing.. Looking down at herself, she realized that maybe that was the problem. She wasn't wearing normal slaying clothes, instead sporting blue jeans and a green shirt with a light bronze-brown jacket over it. Maybe he had been looking at her that way because he thought she should change into something else, something more suitable for vampire killing. She didn't know. "Violet?" she asked suddenly, before she could lose her nerve, "Can you.. Um, help me? I need some advice.. About boys." She let that stay there for a while, blushing a bright color. Hands clenched in her lap and eyes on the table, she spoke again. "How do you know if one likes you, and if you like one, what do you do? How can I know for sure, or.. Get one to like me?" she asked, her words jumbled and rushed. She didn't know what else to say, because she didn't know anything about dating or romance. She figured, though, that Violet might. After all, she was beautiful. Violet and Nicoleta, two women that dwarfed Sarah with their looks (if you asked Sarah, at least). She figured that they would be able to help, but she was far, far too embarrassed to ask their leader for dating advice.

Nicoleta's heart nearly stopped when Jace called out to her. She thought she had been careful - had he heard the door? Dammit. That's when she felt something sharp against her arm. She wasn't sure who it was, but when she heard that oh so familiar voice in front of her she knew it was Jace. Nicoleta didn't answer him; even though she was the leader, she didn't want Jace to know she had been following him. She slowly inched backwards hoping to use the dark as a cover, but Jace moved towards her, piercing her skin. She winced biting her lip. "Stab me and I'll kill you." She warned viciously. She kept a guarded stance, her stomach dropping. Jace was a wild card and his reaction was unpredictable. Her sank, she hoped he wouldn't use the knife.

Violet looked up from her "nap" just in time to glance Sarah and Alex's deep moment. Oho, I see what's goin' on here, she thought. But instead of disapproving of it like she should (she knew that relationships could get in the way of slaying), she didn't really care. She actually felt vaguely happy for them, if only because she had a new reason to tease them. At Sarah's sudden, awkward question, however, Violet's neutral expression slowly changed into one that said, "Ohohoho, so you want advice about BOYS, now do ya?" Her lips were pressed into a teasing, sly smile. "Well, you've asked the right person, my friend," Violet replied, suddenly very cheerful. In reality, Violet had gone out with just three guys in the past, and all of them were either fed up with or scared off by her fiery attitude. Needless to say, she didn't have too much experience, but she wasn't about to pass up this opportunity to get Sarah and Alex together. "First off, if he likes you, he'll start acting really weird," she started, grasping Sarah on the shoulder. "Wiping his hands on his pants, looking into your eyes and then suddenly avoiding them, [expletive] like that." (Of course, she was just reciting things Alex had done just then.) "As for what you do and how you get them to like you..." She grasped Sarah's other shoulder, looking into the other girl's eyes with a glitter in her own. "You just gotta go for it." She slid back into her own chair, looking somewhere in the distance and motioning into the air with her hands as she talked. "Now, everyone goes about this in a different way, y'know, like, everyone has their own style. I, for one, like to go right up to the dude and say "you, me, hot date, now," but there are some who just like to sit around and wait for the dude to ask them. Well that's BS and will get you nowhere. I think you should go for the sweet approach, like, act so innocent and cute he'll have to agree to go out with you." She looked back at Sarah with a smirk. "Here's what you do: You go up to that dude, make small talk for a while. Then when the right moment comes, you look down at the ground, all bashful, maybe tuck your hair behind your ear, and say 'Um, hey, do you wanna hang out sometime?' And boom, there you go." Violet raised an eyebrow at Sarah, who she had probably made pretty uncomfortable by her lengthy speech that she had pretty much BSed her way through. "So, whadda think?"
[Hahahaha oh man most terrible relationship advice ever]
Daniel shook his head. "No, thanks," he replied. "I try not to eat too much, and I had some blood last night." In honesty, he was a little hungry, but drinking any kind of blood made him feel guilty - like he had taken that blood from some innocent person himself. It got a little tedious after almost 300 years, but he had gotten used to the perpetual hunger. At least, until he snapped from it. When Will came in, he watched with a slightly uncomfortable expression. "Uh, good morning," he said, trying to remain polite. "No thank you, I'm fine."

((Ahem. Yes, sorry for the GM Holls. )) A voice sounded from in front of him, and not a voice he expected. "Nicoleta?" he asked, lowering the knife, "What are you doing here?" he demanded, taking one step back. He was obviously unhappy about her being there, but he didn't say why. "You know her?" called a third voice, one that hadn't spoken before then. It was Nathanial, his voice calling from far across the dark abyss. "It doesn't matter," Mattiew said, "She's still here! She still knows where to find us, and.. And our names!" he said, a growl entering his voice. How dare Jace lead someone to them! Jace grit his teeth and rolled his eyes. "If you two don't shut up, I'm going to end you," he said, his voice deadly calm. The other two didn't speak again. Returning his eyes to Nicoleta, he sheathed his knife and grabbed her by her wrist, jerking her with enough force to pull her with him. "You need to leave," he mumbled, towing her to the door. Throwing it open, he shed light on himself and her, thrusting her out into the ally. "Go home, Nicoleta. Go home, and forget this place." His dark eyes watched her, waiting to see what she would do. «☼» By the end of Violet's short speech, Sarah was left even more confused than before. "So, I should just go up to him and act like my normal shy, awkward self?" she mumbled, not meaning for anyone to hear her. Her cheeks were on fire as she imagined that; her approaching Alex in the orchard and asking if they wanted to 'hang out' sometime. What was even funnier was when she pictured herself storming up to him and demanding a hot date. At that image, she giggled a little, though she sort of covered it with a cough. "Alright, well, I can try that.. I guess." She smiled over at the other girl then, her eyes showing how much she appreciated the so-called advice. "Thanks, Vi. I really, really appreciate it. Wish me luck!" she said, standing from her chair. "Oh!" she said, turning back to face Violet once more, "Um, would you mind.. You know.. Not telling anyone I asked?" she asked sheepishly, blushing once again. «☼» Lexi listened as Daniel spoke, pausing a good moment before she shrugged and stopped staring at him. "Okay then," she said, smiling a little. She turned her attention to Will, then, making a face at him before she spoke up to him. "So, what's on the agenda for today?" She asked, sighing a little. Will shrugged, tipping his bottle back to take another swig before he answered. "Don't know, don't care," he said, wincing a little when he moved his hurting left side. He had looked at that knife wound, and it hurt really badly, but it didn't look too bad.. Sighing himself, he looked over at Daniel. "What about you? What's your plan?"

(('Tis all good Sher. Sorry for my slight GM as well >.<))
Nicoleta let out a sigh of relief when Jace eased his knife away. He sounded pissed as hell, but at least he wasn't wheeling a weapon at her. She ignored Jace's question, but listened to him bicker with the voices from somewhere across the room, who belonged - from what Nicoleta picked up - to a Nathaniel and a Mattiew. Suddenly, Nicoleta felt a hand grip her wrist tight. She stumbled as Jace pulled her towards the door and forcefully shoved her out. Nicoleta quickly turned so that she was facing her LC member. Her icy blue eyes narrowed. Jace had seriously pushed her piss button way too much, which was a new record considering it only took him less than a minute. "Excuse me?" Her voice had risen several octaves when he ordered her to leave. The next things happened in three swift movements; Nicoleta had grabbed her wooden knife from inside her boot, took three brisk steps, slammed Jace against the wall, knocking his knife out of his hand and pressing her own knife against his neck. "Don't you DARE use a cheap-ass line like that on me ever! I'm not some dumb golden retriever from Air Bud - don't tell me to leave and 'forget this place'." She said the last bit in a mocking tone. "I'm you Effing' leader. It's about time you show some damn respect!" She said pushing the knife harder against his flesh. "Yeah I get your going through something right now, and I'm sorry about that, but that doesn't give you any right to sneak around shady buildings giving me orders!" She paused to blow some bang out of her face, so that she could look Jace better in the eye. "Now," - she said in a calmer tone - "to answering your question; I'm here to get to the bottom of whatever shit your mixed up in. I'm not leaving, not without you, or at least some answers. You may not be a vampire, but I can still do some damage with this knife, so get talking." By then Nicoleta could see a small trickle of blood streaming down her arm. It wasn't major, but it was an annoyance. Just a typical day for slayer leader.

Jace didn't even try to evade Nicoleta as she charged at him, shoving him against a wall with a wooden knife at his throat, his own knife having been knocked away. As she spoke, he kept a straight face. When she fell silent, though, he slowly began to smile until he was grinning an off sort of smile, laughing softly. "Well, I guess you pass then," he said with a smirk, shoving her off of him as he straightened himself. "Wait," he said, looking over at her, "Before we go in, you have to answer one question.." he paused a moment for effect, "What the hell is "Air Bud"?" His face and voice showed that he was asking an honest question- he really hadn't understood, but he didn't really care either. With a shrug and a shake of his head, he turned back to the door, waving for her to follow. "Alright, boys, the girl's staying," he called, waiting for Nicoleta to come in before slamming the door in, leaving them in total darkness. "He's really cracked," one of the men said, but only a moment later, the room flooded with light. Jace blinked his eyes a few times in rapid succession until the brightness didn't seem so harsh. "Right, so," he said, looking over at the two men then back to Nicoleta. "Mattiew, Nathan, this is Nicoleta. She's LC like I am, and happens to be my leader, so.. You know- keep your distance or whatever," he said, waving dismissively at them. He had already positioned himself between her and the two men, lest it fall on him to protect them from her. "Nikki," he said, smiling a little at her, "This is Matt," he said, gesturing to a man of average height with brown hair and eyes, "And that's Nathan." This time, he pointed to the other man- the larger of the two with fine blond hair and green eyes. "They're part of the reason I know so much more than the rest of you. They're sort of my spies. They're vampires."

[YOOOO PLOT TWIST]
Violet tilted her chair back, flicking her two pointer fingers at Sarah and winking one eye. "Your secret's safe with me," she said in a sing-song tone. "Now go get 'em, girl. Remember - play up your strong suits!"
[Uh. Yeah. Block all of a sudden.]
Daniel looked down at his lap. He should probably leave the two vampires - they'd already offered him so much kindness, and he was only burdening them with his presence. Besides, the two seemed awfully close and he didn't want to be in the way. But... he liked them, a lot actually (as much as Will's drinking made him uncomfortable). It was the most kindness he had received in a long time. "I dunno, but... I should probably get going," he said reluctantly, standing up. "Thank you for everything. I've really enjoyed your company, but I can't continue to burden you like this."

(( ^^ I know right kitteh lol))
Confusion played on the blonde's pretty face as her captive began to laugh. Was this all a joke to him?! "The hell is-" she began but cut off when he told her she had 'passed'. "Passed?" She asked as released him and allowed herself to be pushed back. She rolled her eyes at his question, although she doubt he could see her in the little light that was creeping in through the door. "It's a movie. Watch it sometime." She muttered, a hint of sarcasm in her tone, but only a hint. Nicoleta started to whip the blood off her arm, only to get it all over her hands. "Dammit" She cursed as Jace closed the door. "I hope you have band-aids in this crack-house." Suddenly a burst of light flooded the room. She winced, her eyes not quite adjusted from having been in the dark. When they did, two men stood in front of her. More correctly, stood behind Jace. She shot Jace a death glare when he called her 'Nikki'. Like he hadn't been annoying enough as he was. Her eyes turned to the men as Jace addressed them. Her eyes widened with horror, then to hatred. On instinct she lunged forward, not caring that her arm and hands were stained with blood, or that Jace was in front of her.

((What's the twist? And, once again, sorry for the GM. XP The whole fighting thing, though- there's no real way around it.))
"Don't be silly," Lexsa said, just as Will frowned and said he didn't have to go. Lexi laughed a little but shook her head, continuing to speak. "It's not every day we meet someone we like enough to let in. You're not bad, you know- you could stay with us. Really- you're no burden," she assured him, smiling. "Yeah, what she said," Will said, gesturing to Lexi. He was smiling at Daniel, but hadn't moved from his comfortable position. "I guess you can go," Lexi said, "If you want. We would love for you to stay, though. You know, if you're interested."

Jace could see the look Nicoleta gave the two vamp's just before she lunged. Thankfully, he had known her long enough to have spotted her tell, making him able to place himself right in her way. Hands out and ready, Jace caught Nicoleta, pulling her tightly against him as he stumbled and fell back, landing roughly on his back and popping his stitches. He let out a grunt of pain, gritting his teeth, but only held on tighter. "Nicoleta," he said as she struggled to get to the vampires ((I assume)), "Stop it and listen to me for a Goddamn minute!" He rolled them so he was atop her, his hands pinning her arms to the ground. "Stop it you crazy-" He cut off though, seeing out of the corner of his eyes how close Mat had come. "Nathan, take him out for a minute," he called over, nodding his head at Mattiew. Nathan only grunted and nodded before leading his friend away to the darkness. "I'll call when it's safe!" he shouted to them before he returned his eyes to his leader. "If you don't stop, I will knock you out. Your little title of 'leader' is nothing compared to the lengths I will go to get to Claudius. I happen to need them, get it? I need them, and you do to." He let that sink in for a moment, the only sounds were their breathing and the steady drip, drip, drip of his blood onto the concrete floor. "If I let you up, promise to behave? You have to play nice." he said, smirking lightly though it was obvious he was still serious.

Nicoleta tried to get passed Jace, but the next thing she knew, he was ontop of her, pinning her against the floor. She thrashed against his hold, not about ready to give up a fight. "Let go of me you (I keep this clean XD) A-hole!" She shrugged with no success. Jace was massively bigger than her, there was no way she could get out from under him, unless he wanted her to. "Listen? Why the hell should I listen to you?! You're a traitor Jace! A damn traitor!" She struggled again, but knew it was no use. She sighed relaxing under Jace as he shouted for the two to get out. A shiver ran up her spine when Jace turned back to her, locking his eyes on hers. There was something in them that always creeped her out - she never knew what it was though. She listened to Jace's little speech about doing anything to get revenge, which to be honest scared the crap out of her. The kid was really messed. He was so beyond the LCs that he'd kill her without blinking an eye if she got in the way. She closed her eyes a moment, sucking in a deep breath, suddenly feeling uncomfortable by how close they were. "Why do you have to do so much damn trouble all the time?" She grumbled before opening her icy blues again. "Fine, I want kill you're friends. Will you let me up now? Oh and I'd do something about your stitches, unless you want them killing you."

((Whoops, I'll not curse, then. XD Your poor virgin ears/eyes/whatever))
Jace grit his teeth as Nicoleta thrashed about below him, every movement on her part causing him pain. Finally, though, she settled down, seeming to have grasped that there was no escaping him. When she called him a traitor, his face went dark and angry. He let her finish her petty ranting before he started to speak. "Nicoleta Dalca, you know I'm no traitor. You know that. Of everyone you know, who hates bloodsuckers more than me? Who?" he demanded, his black eyes smoldering. He could feel her shiver beneath him, but he didn't stop, didn't move. "I wouldn't kill you, not even if you killed them. I wouldn't need to. You'd have damned us all- have killed yourself. I don't need you, Nicoleta. I don't need the Lamia Confectores, either. The means to an end, that's all that is. I stay because I enjoy it, and that's that. Call me what you want, but I'm no traitor." He stood then, holding his side gingerly as he looked down at her. "Now, feel free to stay and listen; you might actually learn something," he said, his anger being shoved into a box once again. "You two can come out now," he said, not moving his gaze from Nicoleta. He offered her his hand suddenly, offering to help her up. "I can patch your arm up, but then we have work to do," he said, his eyes searching hers. "You'll be cool, right?" he asked, his tone slightly warning. She had gotten herself into his business, and damned if he was going to let her screw everything up. He'd sooner knock her out and tie her up.

(( Lol no, swearing's alright. Just not over doing it. Nicoleta's mad and that's when the cursing starts flying xD))
Nicoleta couldn't handle looking into his eyes when Jace made her full name. She gritted her teeth as he ranted about being called a 'traitor'. Her rage deepen, when she began to feel guilt. He was right. If anyone out of the group wanted vampires dead it was Jace. She was thankful when he got up off of her. She sighed sitting up, surprised when he offered a hand. She could see he was in a lot of pain from his stitches reopening and waved his off. "I'm fine. I just need some water. Wouldn't happen to have a needle and thread here would you?" Even though Jace had just finished explaining his - not so loyal - feelings about the LC and her, he was still part of the group and still her responsibility. Also, though she never would admit it aloud, she needed him. After all, he was the one who found the party; with help from Nathan and Mathew. "Don't protest, just let me help you. They're no use if you're dead." She sighed getting to her feet. "As a cucumber," She mumbled flatly, when he asked if she'd be 'cool'. "Can we get going? This-" She motioned to the vampires ( I'm guessing their in the room now?) and Jace. "-I'm actually interested to hear about."

Daniel played with his fingers nervously, glancing up at Lexsa and Will as they talked. He really would like to stay - these vampires seemed like they could protect him. Safety in numbers, right? And they were so nice... "...Are you sure? I'm not much of a fighter, and I don't have much money or connections or anything... And you guys seemed perfectly happy all by yourselves..." He trailed off, not sure what else to say.
After Sarah left, Violet sighed, slumping down in her chair. Everyone was off doing their own thing, as per the boring norm. Alex was off in the woods hunting or something, Sarah was off trying to find Alex probably, and Nicoleta was off who knows where with Jace. She was kinda worried about them, actually: Jace, who had been injured so badly the night before, both mentally and physically; and Nicoleta, who was in danger of Jace's wrath if she angered him. With a twinge, Violet felt a little guilty of how she had treated Jace, but then she reminded herself of how horrible he had been to her over the past two months. She blew her bang away from her eye with a puff of breath. Maybe she would go train a little, that always seemed to get her mind off things. Yeah, that's what she'd do. With a groan, she picked herself up and went down to the basement, where the LC kept all their training gear. "I'm too young for this [expletive]," she mumbled to herself as she went.
[This is why I like to use "expletive," it leaves things up to the imagination. >;] ]

Jace didn't say anything when Nicoleta didn't accept his help. He figured he deserved it; he might have overdone the whole 'I don't care about you all' bit. He had forced the guilty feelings deep down and ignored them, something he was quite good at now. "Matt," he said, looking up at the vampire, "Grab some water, needle, and strong thread," he ordered before looking at his friend once more. Friend? he thought then, taken aback. He shook the thought from his head, settling himself once again before he spoke. "Fine, but quickly," he said as he took the tools that Mattiew had brought. "Thanks," he murmured to the man before passing them to Nicoleta, the water bottle first. "There. Now, we can do this over there in my chair, I guess," he said, turning and walking back to the chair he had sat in when he first arrived. "Cucumbers aren't very cool. They're prickly and don't taste good," he said as he walked, turning slowly as he eased himself into the chair. "I can explain, while you.. Fix him," Mattiew said, smiling a little sheepishly. He didn't come any closer to the two humans, as the smell of blood was thick. "Sorry about earlier," he said, bowing his head a little. He was obviously embarrassed by his sudden lack of self-control. It wasn't usual for him, but he was healing from a wound he had gotten earlier. "Nathanial and I were a part of Claudius' group, you could say," Matt said uncertainly. "That's how things work, normally- you are sired by an old vampire and are stuck with him or her until they release you. That, or you run," he said, looking at Nathan for a moment before he returned his eyes to Nicoleta and Jace. Jace wasn't listening, instead focusing on not showing any pain. "We didn't exactly.. Enjoy our time with Claudius- not many do- but there was little we could do about it. No one runs from him and lives," he said somberly. Nathanial cut in then, his eyes vacant as he remembered. "I was one of the men highest up in Claudius' rankings," he said quietly. "I did whatever he asked of me, whenever he asked it. It's sort of like we're robots, you know. Trained and programmed to do exactly what he says." He was silent a moment before he winced, shook his head, and continued. "I did things, terrible things, that I can't take back. But, one day, I was told to turn Mattiew, a dignified englishman, one with a way with words. I did it, of course, not thinking much of it. Claudius had us turn others all of the time, to make up for those we lost to the LC. I thought he was just like the others. He wasn't though," the man said, his eyes focusing. "Claudius, it seemed, fancied men as well as women. Even though Mattiew was partial to males, it didn't make servicing Claudius.. Pleasurable. I spoke up one day and-" the man cut off, his voice no more than a whisper, body tense and tight, shaking slightly in fear, pain, and anger. Mattiew wasted no time and quickly picked the story up. "Nathan was sentenced to be a slave, like I was. We were roomed beside each other, and could sometimes speak through the walls," he said, his hand resting softly on Nathanial's arm, his eyes and voice soft. "We decided that we had to run. To get away from that damnable place. So, as soon as we could, we did just that." Mattiew was smiling openly up at Nathan now, the other, larger man smiling softly back down at Matt. "We were living off of humans still, but it didn't seem right. Not taking against their will, at least. There are enough out there that are willing to give, though, that we switched to that, then to animal blood. It's disgusting, but.. It works." The vampires fell silent and Jace looked up. "I found them in an ally, eating a dog," he said, making a face. "They seemed well-fed, but I didn't trust them, obviously. I kept them here, in this abandoned building, and.. Tested them, for a while. Eventually, I was satisfied that they were okay, as far as vamps go, and left them to their own. They hate Claudius as much as I do, so we were quick friends," he said with a bitter smile. "They're really helpful, being vampires and all. They know all the latest news."

Sarah didn't really know where to look for Alex, but that didn't stop her as she grinned at Violet, waved a little, and walked quickly out of the back door. Once it had closed behind her, she glanced around, a small frown drawing the corners of her lips downwards as she tried to think of the places he might have gone. The cars? She wondered, but upon inspection, she didn't see him. He could be out in the trees, she realized with a smile. The idea of it made her happy, as she enjoyed the orchards too. Right, she thought, I'll check there, then. Without so much as a sound, the girl started in that direction, walking down the path with silent steps. As soon as she entered the shade of the trees, she started looking around, but didn't call out. She didn't even know if that's where he'd be, after all. Instead, she went all the way to the little bench and sat. "Alex?" she asked, her voice soft.

Lexsa was happy to see that Daniel was at least considering staying with them- she did enjoy his company, as rare that actually occurred. "You're no bother, Daniel," she assured him, her smile rather soft. "Don't worry. William has enough connections for the both of us," she said, winking. Will chuckled and nodded. "True, that. Even if I didn't, little Lexi's winning personality would get us whatever we wanted." This was obviously meant as a joke, one that he laughed at and Lexi pretended to scowl at. "William Jared Harthbrook the Third!" she said, her voice playing at being aghast, "How dare you poke fun at me!" She was laughing, too, though. "Anyway, Daniel, please stay. It's been far too long since I've last had intelligent conversation," she said, sticking her little tongue out at Will.
