Jace sighed as he was told to sit, that Violet would be patching him up. They all knew that, out of everyone, she sucked the most at it. "Fine," he muttered, placing himself in a near-by chair as he watched her with dark eyes. "Stitches," Jace muttered, shaking his head. Great. Just great. Of everyone in the house, Violet was helping him, and she had to give him f---ing stitches. Sighing, Jace nodded, looking over at her again. "Try not to enjoy this too much," he muttered as he pulled his ruined shirt off over his head. Wincing as he did so, Jace sucked in a hissing breath of pain, but didn't say anything about it. Once the shirt was off of his body, he sat there on the chair, staring at the ground.

"Don't feel bad about it," Will said, smirking a little, "Lexi hates being a vampire too." He laughed a little, but otherwise said nothing more about it. Lexi soon came into the room, carrying a few packets of blood. "Here," she said, tossing one to Will before handing Daniel his with a smile. She had come in just in time to hear Daniel's answer face-to-face. With a laugh, she answered for Will. "He doesn't know how old he is. He was born this way," she told him before making a face. "Sixteen's pretty young," she said softly, her eyes sad. "You're older than me, though. I'm only 200," she told him with a shrug. "I was turned in 1830."

Alex sighed when he saw Sarah's stomach. "It must be pretty bad then, 'cause this looks horrifying." The gashes from the female vampire looked awful, but Alex figured with some cleaning and maybe a few stitches, Sarah would be good as new. "I think you're going to need some stitches." Alex told her. He began to clean the deepest area with some rubbing alcohol. "Luckily for you, I'm an expert stitch-er." It was true, out of all of them in the house, Alex was probably the best at stitches. Maybe even the best when it came to medical attention. His mother had been a nurse before she met his father. After they married, she became the Lamia Confectores personal nurse. Until that is she left to live in the city after the new generation had taken over. As Alex cleaned Sarah's wound, he couldn't help but noticed how amazing her body looked - at least her stomach area look. That was the good thing about Lamia Confectores girls, they had the best looking bodies. His cheeks burned when he realized what he had been thinking, although he didn't know why. Sarah was an attractive girl, it was okay to admit that right? Alex reached for the stitch kit inside the first aid kit, pulling out the needle. He threaded it, before going to work on the slayer's wound. All the while he made sure to focus on what he was doing and not on the little bit of Sarah's bra that was showing. After a few quiet minutes, Alex cut the stitch strand and finished up on his patch work. "There." He said as he whipped his hands on the side of his towel.

"Does it really?" Sarah asked, trying to get a better look. It only made her flex her stomach muscles a little, which hurt, so she stopped. When he mentioned stitches, Sarah paled visibly. "I've never had stitches before," she muttered, obviously a little frightened by the thought. She hated needles. She hated them hated them hated them. "You'll, um.. You'll be gentle, right?" she asked Alex, her brown eyes trying to hide the fear there. She winced a little because of the sting of the alcohol, but was afraid enough of what was to come that she didn't notice it as much. "Well, at least you're the best of us," she murmured, biting her lip as she watched him grab the needle and thread that were in her kit, ones that had never before been used. She noticed, too, that his cheeks turned red, as though he was blushing, which made her blush too, though she didn't know why. She was about to say something when the needle pierced her skin, the sharp prick and pulling sensation breaking through the wounds numbness. She winced a little, but didn't jerk away, careful not to look. Instead, Sarah looked at Alex, taking in the strong set of his shoulders, the coiled muscles in his back, his beautiful dark hair, and the way his hands felt against her fevered skin. She felt when the string was cut, and let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding. "Thank you," she said, still watching him as he wiped his hands on his towel. She laughed a little, blushing at the way she had squirmed. "Sorry for being a baby about it," she said, looking down for a moment. "Um, Alex?" she said after a moment, blushing bright red. "Can you help me with something?"

Alex shook his head at her apology. "You weren't a baby. Slayers never scrim right?" He teased with a wink. Teasing? Winking? Whoa... this was new for Alex. A lot of things were new for him that day. Alex never had conversations with the others let alone teased with them. Maybe new was a good thing. "Can I get dressed first?" He asked when Sarah asked him for a favor. He was well aware of the fact that he wasstill basically nude in her room.
((Sorry that was pretty bad))

Sarah blushed, smiling at Alex for a moment as he teased her. She saw the look on his face and in his eyes, as though something was surprising him, or he found something odd, but she didn't say anything about it. When he asked to get dressed, Sarah's cheeks flamed, and she laughed a little. "Of course you can," she said, embarrassed because she had forgotten he was naked for a while. "Sorry about that," she mumbled, looking down at her hands, her face still pink.

Alex got up, taking his things with him. He headed out the door and down the hall until he reached his room. About five minutes later, he slid back into Sarah's room wearing nice fitting jeans and a maroon sweatshirt from some college Alex had never heard of (it had been a gift from one of Alex's uncles on his mother's side). "So there's something you need help with?" He asked as he walked slowly back over to the bed. He didn't sit back down, but he stood beside the female slayer, his hazel eyes staring down at her.

Saraphenia watched as Alex left her room, sighing softly once he was gone. She should have told him never mind, that she didn't need his help after all, but he was already gone and it couldn't be helped. Still, she stood, gingerly pulling her shirt up a little, sucking in a hissing breath when her stitches pulled a little. It didn't hurt too badly, but the feeling of her pulling skin bothered her, making her feel a little sick. She finally got her undershirt off, standing there with nothing covering her top half but her bra, and sat back down, sighing. She looked over, back towards her pillow where yet another tank-top sat folded. This one, a soft green one, was the one she always slept in. She reached over, trying to ignore the sick tugging sensation her stitches caused as she pulled the shirt closer. At that moment, Sarah heard Alex's voice and squealed a little, jerking in surprise. "Oh my God," she said, her face instantly growing fire red. She had forgotten to close her door! In her surprise, she had dropped the tank-top back onto the bed, but she hastily grabbed it and pulled it to her chest, covering herself up, even though she was still in her bra, and therefore not exposed. "Um, sorry," she said hastily, embarrassed more for him than anything else. "I, uh, forgot to- I mean when you left- I just-" she finally stopped trying to explain and looked down, mortified. "I was going to ask you to help me with my stupid tank-top, but I finally got it off," she admitted, blushing brighter. She sighed, standing up slowly, still holding the shirt to her front. "Um, can you turn around for a sec?" she asked, her voice quiet and full of her embarrassment. When he complied, she turned around too, so her back was to him, and tried to pull the shirt over her head. Her right arm, though, the one that was bandaged, wouldn't go up high enough, making her frown. "Shoot," she said, brows drawing together. She felt on the verge of tears, because here she was with Alex in her room, with her shirt off, and she couldn't even get it on alone. She didn't ask for help, though- she didn't think he'd be very willing to help her out anyway. Instead, she kept struggling, making little sounds of frustration every now and then.
{Meh, sorry for the GM. I just couldn't help myself with poor little innocent I-Won't-Even-Cuss Sarah. XD}

It had taken Alex a few minutes until he actually realized that Sarah was only in her bra. His cheeks reddened. "Ah, um, so sorry." He stammered before turning around, forcing his eyes to stare at the blank wall facing away from Sarah. First it was Alex nearly nude and now it was Sarah. He didn't understand why he felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed. From the moment he got home that's all he had been feeling. To be honest, Alex was feeling way more than just uncomfortable and embarrassed, he was experiencing emotions he wasn't use to. Emotions and feelings he couldn't quite name. He could hear Sarah's struggles coming from behind him. Alex opened his mouth to say, but it took him a few moments before he managed words. "You okay? Do you want me to leave? Or help? Or something?"
((Haha it's all good.))

Sarah still had her back to Alex, her eyes now filled with unshed tears. She was embarrassed, the fact that Alex had seen her so exposed making her stomach and chest tighten up. She didn't know why it was such a big deal to her at the moment, other than it was a stressful night, and she was hurt and tired. She had been feeling odd since she got home, not wanting to meet Alex's eyes, yet unable to help but look at him, sneaking peaks and things at him from the corner of her eyes. Now, though, she couldn't look at him if she wanted to, too embarrassed to do much other than struggle with her darn shirt. When he finally spoke up, Sarah gave a slight sound of defeat, one big tear leaking down her cheek as she nodded. "Please help," she managed, her voice a little thick. Sniffling softly, she turned around slowly to face him, her lips pulled down in a slight frown as she blushed a little, large brown eyes looking up at his head, waiting for him to turn and help.

Alex slowly went over to Sarah and helped her pull (down?) her shirt. He could feel her discomfort and tried not to think about the awkward tension between them as he helped the slayer dress. He didn't say anything when he was done, he simply took a step back giving her some space. Alex sighed running a hand through his dark locks. His hair was getting long, he would need to get it cut soon. "Anything else I can do for you?" He asked. He knew her side must be killing her.

Sarah was surprised by the feelings that came when Alex drew near her, his hands on her bare skin for a moment as he helped her dress. When he stepped back, its disappearance left her feeling cold, alone, and empty. Her arms came up to hug herself lightly, her teeth lightly biting her lower lip as she looked up at him, watching as his hand went through his hair, hair she bet was soft and thick. She blushed a little, but didn't look away. "That's okay," she said after a pause, "Thank you, Alex," she said, her eyes still gazing at his.

Violet let out a snort. "At least you're not being sarcastic for once," she said, squatting next to the chair with needle and thread in one hand and an acohol-laden cloth in another. "I'll have to make sure you're hurt more often." She gingery pressed the cloth to his wound, keeping her eyes focused on her work. She didn't look at his - actually very buff - chest. Of course he was buff. Everyone here was buff. Violet was buff. Even innocent, won't-even-cuss Sarah was buff. "Don't frikking move, or I'll mess up," Violet warned as she started the stitches. At first she tried stitching with only one hand, but when she accidentally pulled too tight all of a sudden, she placed a hand on his bare chest to steady herself. Awkwardness emanated from every atom of her being. She wished she had just gone up to bed when they got home. Finally, after seemed like forever, she was done. "Hopefully I haven't caused too much internal bleeding," she said as she wrapped some gauze around his chest.
Daniel looked at Lexi for a moment, intruiged, taking the bag with a small "thank you". He tossed the bag between his hands as he listened. "Oh, I never would have known," he said to Lexi. "You have more of a handle on all this than I ever did." Despite their calmness, however, he just couldn't get over Will's answer. "But... born a vampire?" he asked, incredulous. "Meaning you've been around so long you can't remember or you just... woke up like this?" How was that even possible, to have no memories of being a human?

Jace smiled, but not a good smile; it was the bitter sort. He watched as she came closer with the alcohol, needle, and the thread, chuckling a little as she said she'd make sure he was hurt more often. "Like taking care of me?" he challenged quietly, raising a brow. None of his usual attitude was in it, though. When she told him not to move, he only grunted, his eyes on her work as she began. She wasn't doing too bad, he thought. About that time, though, she jerked the thread too hard, pulling his skin with it. Jace sucked in a hissing breath of pain, but made sure he didn't move, even as blood oozed from his wound and her hand rested on his fevered chest. She went back to work, and Jace didn't notice how it looked like she felt awkward. "Thanks," he mumbled once she had finished, sighing a little. He glanced at his black shirt before cursing quietly. "That was my favorite shirt," he muttered, but was smiling a funny smile. All of his shirts looked exactly the same. Wadding it into a ball, the boy shot it across the room, making it into the trashcan. The movement pulled at his stitching, though, making him wince.

Lexsa gave a smile as she sat in 'her chair'; a padded thing that she sat in wrong, so her back was against one arm and her legs were over the other. "Well, thanks," she said, then paused, raising a brow, "I think." The female vampire watched as Daniel thought something over, obviously bothered by whatever it was. Finally, just before she asked what it was, he came out with it. She laughed, her head tilting back a little. "I said the same thing," she assured the new part of their little group. Will didn't laugh, instead smiling at the ground a little. "Yeah," he mumbled, taking a long drink from a bottle of a clear alcohol. "Most of you," he said, gesturing to both Daniel and Lexi, "Don't think about it, but how were vampires created?" he asked, raising a brow. "You were created by a vampire that was created by one, that was probably created by one and so on," he said, waving his hand a little as he went, "But who made the first one?" he challenged, looking at them. "You were human at one time, like the majority of vampires these days. There are some, though, that were.. Born. Not made." Will paused, thinking. "These days with the Slayers, there aren't many of us left. Maybe three in all of the world. We can make new vampires, though, just like you." he said with a shrug. "Anyway, I'm getting off track here.. Vampires have been around for as long as humans," he said, looking Daniel in the eye, "Born from them, even. Not many- it's very, very rare. I can't even begin to tell you," he said, chuckling a little. "Never happens these days, though. We are the last of our kind," he murmured, sitting down as he took a long drink of his vodka.

Alex nodded in reply. He figured that, that was his cue to leave, however he made no effort to do so. The funny thing was that he didn't want to. This was weird for him. Alex craved for solitude, but here he was in Sarah's room wanting her company. Was he looking for her to be a friend? Was he looking to connect with someone in the house? Have to stay tuned for that one folks. After a few awkward moments of just standing there Alex spoke. "Well, I guess I better leave then. If you need anything else I'll be in my room." With that Alex turned and headed out of the slayer's room and down the hall to his own. He closed the door gently before slowly scanning around his room. He had a few clothes on the floor near his closet and a bunch of books and papers out on his desk, but other than that his room was practically empty. It was boring and dull. He had lived a good majority of his life in the house, but he had never put any personality into his room. Not like he had anything to put up. Alex was indifferent when it came to music and the last time he'd seen a movie was over three months ago. He did read some, but he didn't have any favorites - none that are mainstream anyway. Slaying was his life. There was nothing else to it but that. Alex sighed before heading to his window. He opened it before climbing out onto the roof. He laid down, laying arms underneath his head, treating arms like a pillow. The boy blinked his hazel eyes as he watched the blanket of stars above him. That was the good thing about not living in the city. You could always count on a starry night. That was something Alex looked forward too after a long night of slaying. He let of a long breath, letting his worries slip away.
Nicoleta sat at her computer, typing away to their sources. When she was done, she read back through some emails from the past day, still confused as to what had happened at that night. It didn't make sense. Her sources had told them to go west, but the rave at been in the east. The sources were always right. They had never been wrong in the past. But why were they that night? It was just so strange. The blond sighed, leaning her head against her hand as her elbow rested on the smooth wooden desk. Maybe she was just overreacting. People can make mistakes right? But her sources were former Lamia Confectores. Lamia Confectores never make mistakes. Nicoleta had some investigating on her hands. Yet another thing to add to her never ending to-do list. What she really needed to do was talk to Jace. Get him to spill the dets. on how he knew about the rave. She knew she would get nothing out of him now; she had to give him some space to (somewhat) recover. Nicoleta moaned feeling a headache coming on. She had a lot of work ahead of her.

"No, you [expletive]," she shot back. She didn't say anything when he thanked her, only got up and put the supplies away. "Jace, all your shirts look exactly the same," she said from the table, not looking his way. She turned around to see him shoot his shirt into the trashcan and an expression of pain come across his face. "You stupid [expletive], don't do that. You'll hurt yourself even more and then I'm gonna be the one that has to clean up your corpse. Now go lay down on the couch or something."
Daniel sat there for a while, not knowing what to say. But as much as it baffled him, Will's speech made sense. "I've... never thought about it that way," he finally said, his brow furrowed. What else could he say to that? It's not like it affected anything. And anyways, Daniel was unnerved by the vampire's long swig of alcohol. It was unfounded, though - he doubted it affected anything in the vampire's frozen metabolism. A remnant of his human instincts, he thought.

Sarah hadn't wanted Alex to leave, and that scared her a little. She had always liked Alex- he was cool and collected, the best Slayer she knew, next to Jace. She thought that those two boys were probably about equal, and that they must not be as human as everyone else, the way they fought. She hadn't been attracted to him, though.. Had she? Sure, he was good looking, his voice as deep as his eyes, but.. Sarah shook her head a little, sighing softly. She didn't know what she was thinking. She couldn't date him, anyway. That wasn't allowed, as far as she knew- dating within the team. Sure, the LC's dated, but never within groups. It would cloud judgment, make you sloppy. With that, Sarah walked to her door, pulling it open before going down the stairs, not bothering to stop when she saw the three other members of her team. She needed air, she thought as she pulled the door open, closing it briskly behind he as she walked out into the night. She headed down the little path to the orchard, sitting on the small stone bench. The house was still well within sight, and she could even see Alex's window, though the shadows there blocked all else from view- she could just make out the glassy pains of Jace's room next to the other boys, but that was it. With a soft sigh, Sarah looked up, her gaze peering through the trees up at the starry sky, the large white orb among them shining a soft light upon her face, making her smile. She felt better now. She blushed a little, the ghostly memory of Alex's touch flitting across her making her shiver a little.
"Yeah," he said a little playfully, "But that was my favorite." Still, the boy had tossed the shirt, but had gotten into trouble with his caretaker when she saw his face. "Yeah yeah," he grumbled, slowly walking towards the living room. He had to hold onto the chair, then the wall, for support. He paused in the doorway, not looking back as he spoke. "Hey, Violet?" he said quietly. "I know I talk a lot of shit, and I annoy you all of the time, but.." he paused, trailing off. "I dunno. Never mind," he said, shoving himself off of the wall with a grunt as he kept going. "Thanks again," he mumbled to her as he made it to the couch, basically collapsing onto it. He would only let himself rest for a moment, he told himself. Then, he had to get out. He had to go see someone, go do whatever it was he did at night.
Lexi listened to Will, saddened all over again for him, for his lack of human life. Lexi's had not been pleasurable, but at least she knew what it was like. She remembered her heartbeat, the blush that filled her cheeks naturally and not just after she had eaten. She remembered running through fields until she was too winded to continue, burning muscles and a throbbing temple. She could still taste delicious foods like fruit and chocolate, though their memory paled in comparison to the taste of blood. She remembered all of it, but he, her friend, he would never feel these things. He would never truly live. It broke her heart for him. Forcing her gaze away from him, she turned around, knowing that she had been watching him with sad eyes. "Will, don't drink that way," she told him, her voice warning even though he was her senior. She had noticed the look Daniel had shown. William could feel Lexi's eyes on him, and he knew the sadness in them would break his heart if he looked. He looked up in time to see her turn away, thankful that he hadn't caught her eye. "Sorry love," he murmured, setting the bottle down on the end table next to the couch. He was still in pain, his arm hurting something awful. "I think," he started with a slight frown, "I'll go to bed. You two.. Do whatever," he said with a half-smile as he stood in a fluid motion. "I'll see you later." With that, the man turned and walked down the hallway to the very last bedroom, opening the door before going inside. He pulled the curtains closed before pulling his metal blind down over the windows, securing himself from the sunlight so he would sleep well. He turned then, getting into his bed without bothering to change out of his clothes, only taking his boots off.

Violet felt like she should help him, even stepped forward to, but she stopped when he got to the doorway. She didn't respond to him, only stared at him with a blank expression. Was he... trying to apologize? Her heart melted for him then, her grudge eroding the tiniest bit. When he was gone, she left, feeling more confused than she had in a long time.
Daniel watched Lexi, saw the look in her eyes. He knew what she was thinking - that Will would never know how it feels to really be alive. Daniel remembered his own life, almost 300 years ago, and how it was filled with overwhelming happiness and laughter. He remembered his friends and his family and his love, the parties at his uncle's and fishing in the bay and the moonlight on the streets of Boston. But he also remembered those he knew killed in an instant in the war, and the rest withering away to dust as he left them behind. He waited until Will had left before speaking. "Is it really better," he asked, that faraway look in his eyes, "to have had a human life and loose it then to never have had one at all?"

Lexi watched as her friend retreated into his bedroom, her eyes downcast as his door closed. When Daniel spoke, though, she looked up at him, her eyes meeting his with fierce determination, as though she knew that she was right, or at least what she said was true for her. "I believe that it is," she said, nodding. "Better to have lived, I mean." She paused a moment before continuing. "I experienced so many amazing things- the good and the bad- that helped shape me. Memories I would never trade away. He," she said, gesturing slightly towards the male vampires room, "He won't ever feel the same things I did, and it breaks my heart for him." She looked down, knowing that if she could, she would be blushing slightly. "He doesn't mind it, though, so I suppose it's silly that I do." She let her words sit there for a moment before she looked up at Daniel once more. "The sun will be up soon. Your room is right there," she said, pointing to the door across from hers. "I stay there," she said, gesturing then to her own room. "Blood's in the 'fridge, as you saw. Feel free to do whatever you want, but I think I'll retire for the day," she said, smiling softly at the new man. "Good day," she told him before walking towards her room.

Daniel thought about this for a while, not saying anything. He could see how sad she was for him, not having any human memories, but everything he remembered about his own life just... hurt. "Alright," he said in response. "Thank you." He sat on the couch for a while before retiring to the room that was assigned to him.
[Wow, this is pitiful. I guess that just about wraps things up though.]
