Here is a sample of how to start a roleplay for those of you newer to roleplaying.
Introduction
This is where you would introduce your topic. Some people use narration in first or third person, others just explain it.
Ex. Once upon a time, there was a far away land where magic ponies roam. They were really happy until they ran out of candy. Now they have to figure out who stole their candy.
Rules
This is where the thread maker establishes their rules. All roleplayers who plan on joining should read these and follow them. The roleplay creator has the right to report anyone defying their rules or causing problems on their thread. When making rules, try to establish the basis of how you want people's characters to act.
Ex.
1. No cussing. Only use pony language like horse turds!
2. No GM/PP unless you have permission.
3. No killing! It's not nice.
4. You're pony can't know the candy stealer at first.
5. This is a non-literate RP. Just make sure you spell okay.
etc...
Character Bio
This is where you establish what kind of information you want on the characters.
Ex.
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Pony Type:
Personality:
Other:
Appearance:
There's more you can add to this for a more thorough understanding, this is just the basics for my cheesy pony RP.
These are the things you will basically do on your SU thread. You can do the same for your RP thread, but you should probably take the character bio out in case people try to sign up on that instead of your indicated SU thread.
