Rylan nodded at his words, sitting quietly as he drove them back. When they arrived, she got out of the car slower than he did. She made her way into the cabin, a slight smile twitching on her lips as she saw him draped across the couch. She grabbed a blanket from the bed and headed back to her partner, draping it over him. Deciding that sleep was a good idea, she made her way back to the bedroom. She toed off her shoes and then slipped under the blankets, curling into a tight ball. An onslaught of memories and emotions hit her and she sobbed softly to herself, hoping she didn't wake partner. Eventually, she fell into a haunted, nightmarish sleep.
Heath clenched his jaw as he was told to shut up, setting a steely gaze on the man. All he wanted to do was crush his throat. He followed the pair to the alley, his spine stiff as he watched Edwards. He frowned, not hearing what the criminal murmured to his partner, but certainly catching the disgusting appraisal of his partner. His hands clenched into fists, his eyes flicking to Brooks as a scowl formed on his features. He struggled to keep himself calm as Sophia was restrained and the gun was turned on him. He tilted his jaw up slightly, a smirk gracing his lips as the man taunted him. The look on his face was wiped off in an instant as Edwards made a pass at his date, replaced with something much more serious. And deadly. His head snapped to the side as the second man screamed, and he quickly took it as his chance to reach out and grip Edwards' wrist. Giving the man a hard tug, he yanked his arm to the side while twisting his hand. Jerking the gun from his fingers, he bent the man's arm at an awkward angle before he heard a satisfying snap. He gripped his throat, shoving him against the wall and making sure that his head cracked against the cold cement. Heath turned the gun on Brooks, now at a sufficient angle to shoot the man in the thigh and not hit his partner. When the goon was incapacitated, he turned his dark eyes to Edwards, squeezing his hand tighter around his throat as he jabbed the hard barrel of the gun into his ribs. "And how many bullets can you take?" he spat, digging the weapon in more firmly. He knew patrons of the surrounding buildings would be coming out to investigate soon, but they were working on international matters. He lowered the gun and shot the man in the kneecap before glancing back at his partner, "Go get the handcuffs from the car and make a call to the police," he instructed quietly, his voice dark.

The following morning, Clark woke up, realizing he had literally slept for almost twenty-four hours. It made up for all of the lack of sleep he had since they returned from Russia and he was feeling very refreshed. He walked to the refrigerator to find it had been stocked for them and grabbed an apple, scarfing it down quickly. Then he grabbed his phone and began to inspect a map of the area, trying to figure out where to start. He was considering breaking the area up into quadrants and exploring each one little by little every day. It would take a long time, but that way they could be thorough.
Edwards had been distracted by Brooks's scream and was not ready when Heath grabbed him and slammed him and disarmed him in one swift movement. He screamed as his arm snapped out of his place, the sound cut off as he slammed into the wall. He groaned in pain, whimpering as his airway was constricted. He cried out in agony as a bullet tore through his knee, struggling against the man gripping him. Sophia glanced over at her partner once Brooks was incapacitated, a little nervous about his suddenly deadly approach to the men. "Heath," she said in warning as he brutally attacked the man. When he told her what to do, she clamped her mouth shut, doing as he said and returning a few moments later with handcuffs. She handed them to him and then pulled out her phone, placing a phone call and arranging for the police to come pick up the crooks. When she finished, she walked back to the car and got into the passenger's seat, waiting for her partner. He seemed to want to take charge so she'd let him.

Rylan hadn't slept very soundly or peacefully, waking up several times while Clark was asleep. She woke up again just a bit after her partner did, swinging her legs over the edge of the bed and making her way out to the small living room. Her eyes were red-rimmed, and she had dark bags beneath them, but she managed to give him a small smile. "Hey," she said quietly as she dropped into a chair at the table. She hadn't eaten in awhile, but she wasn't particularly hungry. "You could've taken the bed, you know," she murmured guiltily, her eyes flickering to the small window she sat by. She wanted to say that they could share it, but she didn't want to freak him out. The idea of his arms wrapped around her while she slept was rather comforting, but she had to push the thought from her mind. They were strictly partners, nothing more. He wasn't her crutch to lean on. She had to stand on her own two feet. Her eyes moved back to him as she got to her feet, coming to hover beside him. "Any ideas on where to start?"
Heath took the handcuffs when Sophia came back, a little perturbed as she walked off again. He turned his attention back to Edwards, reluctantly releasing him before cuffing his arms behind him. He shoved him into a sitting position before cuffing Brooks and hauling him to sit beside his boss. Heath stood there quietly, waiting for the police to arrive. When they did, he quickly explained the situation before leaving them abruptly, heading back to the car. He slid into the driver's seat, running a hand through his hair as he cast a weary glance at his partner. He had snapped a bit. He had this intense urge to protect Sophia and make Edwards pay for his wrongs. Maybe he had been a bit harsh on the unarmed man, but the criminal had shown him no mercy. He had four bullet holes to prove it. Why should he have to be kind? With a sigh, Heath started the car and drove back to the apartment. It was late. They could head back to the Institute in the morning. As he parked in front of their temporary home, he glanced at Sophia. "Sorry," he murmured softly. "I'm sorry if I scared you. Or overreacted. Or whatever I did wrong." He glanced down at the wheel, "Some first date," he chuckled slightly, his shoulders slumped in defeat. He was sure he'd screwed up. He'd seen the look on her face. He'd crossed some line yet again. Maybe he really had reacted too darkly. He pushed himself out of the car and headed to Sophia's door. Opening it, he offered his hand to help her out. When she was standing, he brought the back of her hand to his lips, brushing them lightly over her skin. He released her hand before tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. Leaning forward, he placed a soft kiss to her forehead. "I hope you're alright," he murmured against her skin. "I'm sorry our evening was ruined. And I understand that it won't work out between us. I'm just too much of a brute for you," he said with a soft, pained chuckle. He pulled away from her, giving her a slight smile, "We'll leave in the morning." With a small nod, he turned away and headed to the front door.

Clark glanced up win Rylan walked in, giving her a faint smile in return to her greeting before dropping his eyes to his phone. He shrugged at her words. "I was just doing the polite thing. Bed's all yours." He didn't say anything as she hovered behind him, scrolling through the map. "I'm just setting up perimeters for where we should scout every day. That'll be the fastest way to cover a lot of ground." He sat back and turned to face her, resting his arm on the back of the chair. "Do you have any ideas on how to uncover any of this stuff?"
Sophia kicked off her heels and waited patiently in the car and when Heath finally returned, she glanced at him to make sure he was okay. He seemed fine and she didn't say anything the whole ride home. It looked like their mission was over. When they parked, she reached for her shoes only for him to speak. Confusion crossed her features at his apology. "You didn't do anything wrong," she said, wondering where he got that impression. When he came to open her door, she took his hand and pulled herself out of the car. She watched him as he kissed her hand, meeting his gaze when he looked up at her and giving him a tired smile. Her eyes fell shut as he kissed her forehead and she was a little confused by his tender gestures. Was he relieved she was alright? A frown placed itself on her lips when he spoke, her eyes fluttering open at his words. She was a little shocked he had come to that assumption. She was only disappointed that their night had been cut short so quickly. As he walked away, she pushed the car door closed behind her. "Heath," she called to him softly, dropping her shoes on the ground and jogging up to him. When he turned around, she flung her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to his. After a few moments, she pulled away, lifting her eyes to his. "I would love to go out with you again. But..." She paused, stroking her finger along his jaw. "It's a little unrealistic to think that we can go through the normal motions like I want. So I guess we'll just have to settle with what we have." She gave him a sly smile, hoping that she had reassured him that he hadn't scared her off.

Rylan's eyes moved to Clark's phone as he explained what he was doing. She nodded, "Good idea." At his question, she shrugged slightly. "Well, I'd say it'd be in a more obvious place than we'd think. I doubt they built some sort of warehouse themselves. My guess is that they are either using an abandoned place or are operating under some false name and perhaps laundering the money they make." She paused for a moment, thinking. "Maybe we could ask around and see if there are any businesses off the main road." She glanced at him, "And then I'd say we should try and get in with the dealers first, and see if we can't work our way up to see who's operating this whole system." Shrugging again, she gave him a small smile, "I've always wanted to be in the illegal drug industry. Haven't you?" she asked sarcastically, nudging his shoulder lightly before she straightened up and headed toward the bedroom. "Let me take a quick shower and change, and we can go," she called over her shoulder before disappearing into the room.
Heath paused when she called out to him, turning around in time to have her throw herself at him. He easily caught her by the waist, happily returning her sudden kiss. His arms moved to encircle her and lift her off the ground slightly, holding her closer. When she pulled away, he opened his eyes, peering at her through his glasses. A smile coaxed up the corners of his lips at her words and he felt a shiver pass down his spine as she stroked his jaw. When she was done speaking, he leaned down to peck her lips before gently setting her on her feet. "Go get your shoes, gorgeous," he murmured with a chuckle, leaning down to kiss her cheek lightly before he released her and headed to the door. He unlocked it and stepped inside, closing the door once his partner was in as well. He headed into the bedroom to change into a pair of dark blue pajama bottoms, forgoing a shirt. He went back out into the living room and dropped onto the couch, stretching a leg out across the cushions. "Do you want to watch something before we call it a night?" he asked as he reached for the remote.

Clark set his phone down, realizing she was right and beginning to feel foolish. Her idea was much better. He nodded, agreeing with her. "Alright," he said, getting to his feet as well. While she was in the shower, he changed into a fresh pair of jeans and a dark green T-shirt, pulling a sweatshirt on over it. It was definitely a little brisk out.
[Pirate fail...]
Sophia smiled at his reaction, doing as he asked and grabbing her shoes where she had dropped them. She followed him inside, setting her heels down by the door and walking to the kitchen for a glass of water. When he came out in only pajama bottoms, she turned away to set her glass in the sink, a little surprised. When he asked her if she wanted to watch TV, she put her hands on her hips. "Only if you don't plan on sleeping there," she told him. "You're still hurt." She held a finger up to indicate that he gave her a moment before disappearing into the bedroom. She appeared a few moments later in a T-shirt and shorts, her hair up in a sloppy bun. She waited for him to move his leg before settling onto the couch beside him, her eyes flicking to the screen before shifting to him. "What are we going to watch?"

Rylan showered quickly before tugging on a tight pair of dark jeans and a thick knit slouchy gray sweater. She dried her hair and piled it on top of her head in a messy bun before leaving the bathroom to pull on a pair of brown leather combat boots. When she was done, she grabbed her essentials and met Clark in the living room, offering him a small smile. She was definitely trying hard to work through the pain in her life and was making an actual attempt to be kind to her partner. "Ready?" she asked as she headed to the door, making her way out to the car. She slid into the passenger seat, knowing they had a fairly long drive ahead to reach town. When her partner joined her, she glanced at him briefly. "So...I don't know all that much about you," she murmured, trying to figure out how to word a question to ask him about his life.
Heath rolled his eyes at her words, "Hurt? I'm good as new," he said with a grin as he flexed his good arm. While he waited for her to change, he turned on the television, flipping through the channels. When she joined him, he moved his leg slightly to allow her to sit down before grabbing her by the waist and pulling her onto his lap. He shrugged, "A movie? Show? See if we made the news?" he chuckled. He rested his chin on her shoulder as he offered her the remote, wrapping his arms securely around her. He glanced at her, his lips brushing the side of her neck. "You are alright, right?" he asked quietly, his voice serious.

[...Rylan...awkward XD]
Clark glanced up when his partner walked in, taking a deep breath. "Ready as I'll ever be," he said, shoving his gun closed after refueling it. He stuck it in the halter underneath his sweatshirt, a precaution, and then walked out to the car, taking the driver's seat. He started off in the direction she had previously suggested, glancing over when she spoke with a look of amusement. "And?" he asked, egging her on a little. "I think you'd laugh if you knew much about me," he started. "My parents are big DC Comics fans. I grew up in Kansas, joined the police force, got transferred to where I am now. The end." He gave her a bit of a cheeky grin as he concluded his very short life story. "Nothing special."
Sophia shrugged after she had settled onto his lap, glancing at the TV. She took the offered remote and flipped through the channels absentmindedly, shivering slightly at the feel of his lips on her neck. "I'm fine," she replied, patting his leg to reassure him. "I should be used to staring down the barrel of a gun by now," she said sarcastically, putting the remote down after settling on what looked like a cheesy little feel good movie. It would be something to fill the time. "Are you okay?" she asked, turning slightly so she could see his reaction and make sure he wasn't lying.

[xD I know.]
Rylan made a face at her partner as he prompted her, shrugging her shoulders. She couldn't help but smile as he told her about his life, her eyes flickering to him momentarily. "Comic book geeks, that's great. I get "Clark" now," she giggled, trying to hide her smirk. She raised a brow at him, "Police officer, huh? I can see it." She turned her eyes out the window, drawing blanks on what to ask next. She wanted to distract herself with a conversation, but she didn't know what to say, so she decided to offer up some information about herself. "I'd give anything to have "nothing special". I was born and raised in Belgium. My mother was abusive and my father was a drunk. They were murdered when I was eleven. My brother and I were moved here to the U.S. to live with our aunt and uncle after that." She frowned slightly, realizing how all that must sound. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear self-consciously, she glanced at Clark briefly. She felt like she had given up too much information and was nervous about that for some reason. "I-I mean, it wasn't all bad," she added quickly, shrugging her shoulders. "My aunt and uncle are cool people." She'd never really told anyone about her past and she didn't know what had possessed her to say anything now. "Falcon found out that I was pretty good at math and referred me to the Academy." She turned her eyes back out the window, her hands folded tightly in her lap.
Heath smiled slightly at her assurance, his mind resting easier now. "I'm completely fine. Promise," he chuckled, "I just wish we could have had a nicer evening." His lips brushed her neck again and he glanced up at her from beneath the rims of his glasses. "You know, finish our meal. Take a nice evening stroll. Take you home, walk you up to the front door, and give you a goodnight kiss," he said with a grin. He brought his lips to hers lightly, gently twisting her around so that she was straddling his hips. He drug his lips down her jaw and over her throat before nipping at her collarbone. He smiled against her skin, winding his arms around her waist. Laughing softly, he pressed his lips to hers before pulling back. "You know, I wonder what you consider "casual dress"," he teased in reference to her attire that evening.

Clark sighed when she realized where his name came from and her giggle, shaking his head. When she started speaking about herself, his eyebrows furrowed at the information she had revealed. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice a little unsure. It was a lot of information for her to drop suddenly and he was still absorbing it when she spoke again. He searched for something to say, but felt a little awkward now. He wasn't expecting her to reveal that much about herself all of a sudden. At least he understood more why she was so upset. "Belgium sounds cooler than Kansas," he offered, although it was a little half-hearted.
Sophia rolled her eyes at his words, shaking her head as she gazed at him. "Too bad we are who we are," she murmured before his lips captured hers. She moved as he guided her, settling more comfortably now as she wasn't twisted in an awkward position. She sighed as his lips trailed away from hers, craning her neck back at the wonderful sensation. It had been a long time since she had been kissed like this. When he laughed, she pulled away, curious of what was amusing him. When he spoke of her previous outfit, she laughed, giving him a small shrug. "I like to look beautiful. Besides, I've been looking for a use for that one. I just got it recently." She tilted her head slightly, gently brushing her fingers through his hair. "Don't worry, I can dress appropriately. It wasn't that formal anyway."

Rylan gave a slight shrug at his statement, her eyes focused out the window. She knew she had probably freaked him out, but she had just found herself speaking and not really thinking. She sat there awkwardly, allowing an uncomfortable silence to fall between them. When they finally got to town, she pointed out a small post office. "Park over there. I bet they know about any places around here." When he parked, she got out quickly, relieved to be released from the confined silence. She straightened out her sweater and headed into the small post office, giving a smile to the man behind the counter. He appraised her with a grin, resting his elbows on the counter and leaning forward. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes. I haven't seen you before. You new around here?" Rylan shifted slightly, not appreciating the ogling, but dealing with it. She shrugged, "Something like that," she said easily, a smile still on her lips. She rested her hands on the edge of the counter and the man nodded, "Well what can I do for you?" Rylan glanced around, "Do you know of any buildings or shops around here that are for sale? I'm trying to launch a business. I like small-town appeal." The man leaned back slightly, stroking the short stubble on his chin. "Mmm, not many places out here. There's an empty lot about a block away. And right across the street is a store for lease," he informed, "Oh, and if you follow Jenson out toward the river about five miles down, there's a warehouse. But it's been abandoned for years. I'm not sure who owns it." Rylan nodded with a smile, "Thanks for your help." The man grinned, "Come back any time. I might even ask you out for a drink." Rylan chuckled, politely waving him off before she headed out of the small building.
Heath chuckled at her response, his lips finding the hollow of her throat. "You look beautiful all the time. And I'm only teasing you." He slipped his hands beneath her shirt, his warm palms pressed against her back. He placed light kisses up the side of her neck before bringing his lips back to hers. He grazed his teeth over her bottom lip before kissing her forcefully, his lips moving with hers. He groaned softly as he brought his hands down to her waist, tugging her closer to him. With a soft sigh, he pulled his lips away, resting his forehead against hers. "We should probably get some sleep," he murmured, not wanting to push her too far or anything. He reached around her to grab the remote and turn off the TV. Gently pushing her off of him, he got to his feet and headed into the kitchen to take his medication before heading into the bedroom. He slipped under the blankets, waiting for Sophia to join him.

Clark was a little disappointed that his attempts to revive the conversation failed and he fell silent for the rest of the ride. When they reached town, he parked where he was directed. He noticed how quickly she tried to escape the car and sighed, getting out as well. He decided to just wait for her outside, leaning against the hood of the car. When she reappeared, he pushed off the vehicle and took a few steps toward her. "So?" he asked, curious of what she had discovered.
Sophia shivered as his hands made contact with her skin, running her fingers through his hair as he kissed his way up to her mouth again. She smiled slightly as he tugged on her lip before pressing her lips to his, pleasantly surprised by the force he used. She returned it with equal fervor, pressing closer against him. When he stopped, she opened her eyes, a little confused. When he mentioned going to bed, she sighed. She didn't really want to stop, but she nodded, sliding off his lap. She turned off the lights in the main rooms as he got his medicine and then followed him into bed. When she was settled, she turned on her side to face him, running a finger down his cheek. "This will be our last night alone together," she mentioned. When they went back to the Institute, they'd have fewer chances to be alone. They'd also have to keep they're relationship very subtle. It was an unmentioned rule that relationships within the Institute weren't really allowed and partners that got too close were usually separated.

[Are you having fun messing with the format, Pi? xD]
Rylan glanced up at her partner as he moved toward her, taking a small step away from him and toward the car as though to put up a physical barrier between them. "Well, I got asked out for drinks," she laughed, before growing more serious. "He said there's an abandoned warehouse five miles out of town. We should check it out. See if it's the right place." She gave him an easy smile before slipping into the car. When he joined her, she directed him on where to go based on what she had been told.
Heath turned his head to face Sophia, a smile on his lips. His eyes fell shut as she touched his cheek, only for them to flutter open at her words. A curious look filtered into his eyes, "Hmm, then perhaps we should make the best of it," he murmured, his voice a bit husky. He snaked his arm around her waist and tugged her on to his chest, his hands slipping down to the sides of her hips. His lips found hers hungrily, wanting to continue what they had started earlier. He knew they'd have to be careful at the Institute so as to not let on about their relationship, so he figured they should be affectionate now while they were alone. He trailed his fingers up to her back, pushing up the bottom of her shirt so he could stroke patterns onto her smooth skin.

[I'm just trying to make it more appealing to the eyes XP If you can't read it, why would you join?]
Clark noticed her movement in reaction to his and stopped in his tracks. He gave her a forced smile at her mention of being asked out for drinks. Like that was what he wanted to hear. He got into the car after she informed him of the relevant information, starting it up. He followed her instructions and after a while, they were in the parking lot of an old warehouse. Getting out of the car, he glanced up at it, inspecting it. "This looks promising," he muttered, starting toward it so he could do a perusal of the perimeter.
Sophia giggled softly as he pulled her closer, the sound stopping when their lips met. She kissed him fervently, her heart rate quickly picking up at his touch. In the heat of the moment, she sat up and tugged off her shirt, leaning down to capture his lips once more after tossing it aside. She tugged lightly on the bottom of his lip, her tongue darting gently over it as if to compensate for the roughness. She trailed kisses along his jaw until she reached his ear. She playfully tugged on the lobe, her teething grazing over it in a light nip.

[Yeah, I like this format better. It's easier to read. xD]
When they reached the abandoned warehouse, Rylan got out when her partner did. As Clark started to head towards the building, she reached out quickly and grabbed his hand, tugging him back. She gestured toward an open side door, hearing the faint din of voices. "I don't know if we should just walk right up to it," she murmured quietly, her eyes on the doorway. Surveying the parking lot, she noticed a couple cars parked close to the warehouse. Her eyes flickered to his, "But I don't think it's abandoned. Maybe we should just watch for a couple hours today and see who comes out. I saw a small dirt road just a little ways back. I think we could get a pretty good view from there." Realizing that she was still gripping his hand, she released him, getting quietly back into the car. The prospect of sitting with him in a confined space for a few hours with only mere conversation as company was a bit unnerving to her.
Heath's eyes fell open as she pulled away, slightly surprised as she tugged her shirt off. He gave her a devilish grin just before their lips met again. Where her skin touched his, between the bandaging, made his heart hammer in his chest. He groaned softly as her lips trailed away from his, raking his fingers lightly down the length of her bare back. Turning his head into the side of her neck, he gently nipped at her throat, peppering kisses down to her collarbone. One hand wound into her hair as he sought her lips once more, kissing her with a tender passion. Trailing his hand from her soft locks, he wound it around her abdomen, pulling her flush against him as he propped himself up on his other elbow to kiss her harder.

[Good ]
Clark glanced back as she grabbed his hand. "I was only going to walk around it. If they ask, Ill say I'm a prospective owner." As she continued to speak, he sighed with a scowl and got back into the car. "Fine." He got back in and backed out toward the road she had mentioned, putting the car in park, He crossed his arms and leaned back, remaining silent.

When they were parked, Rylan turned her eyes to her partner, annoyed and weary that he seemed to be getting upset again, like he had yesterday. "What the hell is your problem?" she snapped, "Jesus, I'm trying here, Clark. All I'm saying is that, "prospective buyer" or not, I don't think they'd react too kindly to you being out there. What if they thought you saw something? You don't have to get all moody about it." She folded her arms across her chest, turning her eyes out the window, "Fine, though. Go poke around. Don't get shot or anything."
[Lol, sure, go for it. xD]

Clark looked over at her with an annoyed glance. "I'm in here, aren't I?" he grumbled. "Stop being so dramatic." He kept his eyes forward, staring out of the windshield at a fixed place in front of the car. He wasn't really paying attention to the warehouse or anything really, he just wanted to prove to Rylan that he was perfectly fine sitting there doing nothing for a few very boring hours.
Sophia moaned softly as he found her lips again, her breathing going ragged between kisses. She wrapped a leg around his waist to pull closer to him, her fingers knotting in his hair as she ran her tongue over his bottom lip, seeking entrance into his mouth. Her hands slid down to his shoulders and down his arms to his sides, feeling every inch of skin she could reach where they weren't pressed together. She drew away again to take control of the situation, a sly smile on her lips as she began to undo the drawstring of his pajama bottoms and it faded to black.

Rylan frowned, becoming incredibly frustrated at his response. "Yeah, I'm the one being dramatic," she muttered sarcastically, turning to face him. "I just don't want you to get hurt." She stared at him for a moment, trying to force the awkwardness in order to get him to look at her. "What's going on here? Are we ever going to get along? When you try to be nice, I'm a jerk. When I try to be nice, you're a jerk. Can we just call some sort of truce? I really don't understand why this entire world has to hate me."
Early the next morning, Heath awoke to the pleasant sensation of a warm body beside him. Shifting slightly, he wrapped his arms more snugly around Sophia, lying chest-to-chest with her. He stroked her bare back with a sigh, his chin resting on top of her head. Ducking slightly, he pressed a light kiss to the top of her shoulder before giving a satisfied groan against her skin as he pulled away to gaze at her. "I could get used to this," he murmured in a voice husky and deep from sleep. Brushing his lips across her forehead as he settled into his pillow once more, he tugged the blankets up further around them, happy with simply lying there for a few more hours. His eyes flickered down to her face as he reached up to lightly stroke her cheek, "Sophia, was that your first time?" he asked gently.

Clark sighed at her words, looking away from her. "The world doesn't hate you. Stop victimizing yourself," he grunted. "If you weren't such a killjoy all the time, maybe people would be more open to approaching you. You always look like you're ready to kill someone." He leaned back in his seat and shut his eyes, not wanting to have the conversation at the moment.
Sophia was awoken by Heath's gentle kisses, a small smile forming at the pleasant wake up call. She giggled softly at his words, making a sound of agreement as she opened her blue eyes to look up at him. She shifted her arm slightly to rest her hand on his warm chest, completely content with laying there cuddled up to him. She closed her eyes with a pleased sigh, opening them again at his question. She made a soft noise of amusement at his words. "No." Realizing what he may have been implying by that question, she lifted her head slightly and a look of concern crossed her features. "Did it seem like it?" she asked, beginning to grow embarrassed that he may have found her seeming inexperienced. She lifted her gaze to him, turning his own question on him with a bit of a twist. "Was that your first time with a Frenchwoman?" she asked with a hint of amusement in her tone. "Was it everything you thought it'd be?" She giggled, letting her head fall back on the pillow.
