Name: Lark Brie Jefferson

Civilian or Hero: Hero
- Special Ability: She has the special ability of weather manipulation. She can create any type of weather, both mild and extreme, and on both a large and small scale. However, she typically keeps it to a small scale when dealing with crooks. For example, a small tornado to knock them off their feet, lighting to act as a tazer, or a small sand storm to blind them momentarily. She typically limits the use for when she's responding to a call.
- Weakness: She is weakened by bronze (ie. bronze chains, jewelry, etc.). That particular element interferes with her powers for a particular reason, and makes her very fragile and vulnerable to being killed.
Personality: Lark is a fairly quiet girl. She doesn't do well with strangers, as she is a bit awkward around anyone she doesn't know. However, when she's wearing her mask, she feels almost invincible. She's very protective of her comrades and feels responsible for helping keep them and the city safe. Her training in the police academy molded her to be strong at the time and worry about her feelings later. The only memories she had contained her fellow Heroes, and she is fiercely loyal to her make-shift family. She doesn't open up easily, but she does trust the other Heroes. She keeps to herself a lot, but she will hover in the background with everyone also, not usually making her presence known. However, out of sheer spontaneity, though, she will become animated if a topic interests her. She is a very analytical person and thinks about things carefully before she speaks. She would have made a great detective as she is very good about making connections between things and seeing these connections before others. She enjoys helping people, as well as bringing troublemakers to justice. Though she has the ability, she only manipulates the whether when she needs to.
History: She can only remember as far back as a disturbingly white laboratory.
Appearance: Lark stands at a tall 5' 10", with delicate features. She has fair, scar-riddled skin with just a hint of a tan to give a warm glow. She has high, sculpted cheek bones and a natural flush to her cheeks. She had full, soft, pink lips. Her nose, though proportional to her face, was a bit more pointed than rounded. Her eyes, gentle and round, were a striking deep blue, with white flecks that made them look like marbles. Her hair, a dark hazelnut color, reached just below her shoulder blades in a mixture of loose curls and soft waves. She had a center part that framed her face nicely. She had slender wrists and fingers and mile-long legs. She was well toned from being a Hero and the police academy before that. Her mask covers her eyes, just past her eyebrows, and down over the tops of her cheeks. The mask elongates down her cheeks and makes points that curve toward, but don't touch, her chin. The carvings on her mask are sharp and angled.

- Special Ability: Luke has the ability to control peoples' emotions. It takes immense concentration, though, and he cannot be distracted when doing it. He doesn't do it often, and usually only to criminals, because he feels that he should respect boundaries. He often gets caught up in influencing emotions, though, and doesn't realize it.
- Weakness: His weakness is crippling seizures. When controlling emotions, though, he often doesn't realize for how long he is influencing them, and that sets off his weakness. Because he is controlling someone else's emotions, he is not focusing on his own, thus setting off his seizures. He typically has someone break his focus when they are out on a call.
Personality: Luke is quite stand-offish. Though he would lay down his life for his fellow Heroes, he isn't the most friendly person to be around. He's a bit pessimistic and dark, with a hard shell to crack. If you can break down that shell, though, and gain his respect and trust, he is actually very sweet and kind person to know. If you do get to know him, he is a great companion to have. He has a secret sense of humor that people rarely get to see. He is rather intuitive to how people are feeling, obviously, because of his power. Despite his brooding personality, he would not hesitate to take a bullet for someone in danger. He is protective, because he is a Hero, but he is also naturally protective. He can't stand to see someone hurting and he feels the need to keep them safe. As a Hero, he feels responsible to keep people safe. Though he is dark and brooding, he is fiercely loyal and protective, perhaps another weakness, though it takes time to earn is trust and respect.
History: He can remember no more than any other Hero can.
Appearance: Luke casts a long shadow wherever he goes, standing at a very tall 6'5". He is broad-shouldered and well-muscled from his line of work. One would not guess that he could be brought to his knees by debilitating seizures. He has a deep tan and many scars. His hair is a dirty blond that just a tad long, barely touching the tops of his ears. It is usually attractively unkempt, though it stays out of his eyes. He has warm brown eyes that are framed by stylish black-rimmed glasses. He has a very pleasant face topped off with a heartbreaking smile. His mask cover his eye area and comes down over the top of his nose. It is engraved with very fine details that meld into a picture of sharp lines and curves, ups and downs like emotions.

Personality: Charlotte is a vision of kindness. She is a very sweet person and tries to see the best in everyone. She appears to be very innocent, as well. She is a gentle soul and is pretty laid back. However, she also has a very short temper. She is easily angered by those who are rude or insensitive. Though easily angered, she keeps her anger in check most of the time. She is normal very nice and lighthearted. She loves to laugh and enjoy life. She has a kind heart and tries to help people as often as she cans. She likes to give back and does a lot of volunteer work.
History: Charlotte had a saddening childhood. Her mother and older brother died in a car accident when she was thirteen. She was raised by her father who did his best and worked hard to support their now two person family. He tried to encourage her to do what she loved in life and never let anything get in her way. She is now in her third year of college and wants to become a teacher. She has a part-time job working in a cafe down the street from her one bedroom apartment.
Appearance: Charlotte stands at an average height of 5'6". She has straight auburn hair that goes just past her shoulders and frames her face with blunt bangs that reach just below her eyebrows. She has pale blue eyes that borderline gray and are always crinkled from a friendly smile she has on her face. She has a slightly pointed chin with a bit of an angular jaw. She has a cute, pixie-like nose and small, full lips. She has a petite frame and is all around easy on the eyes.

Personality: Ryder is a very outgoing guy. He enjoys making people laugh as he can't stand to see a sad face. He is very intelligent and capable individual. It takes time to earn is trust, but if you do, he is is a loyal friend. He is a bit of a hopeless romantic, but it takes a special kind of girl to pull that side from him. He doesn't have any complaints with his life at the moment and sees things as a "glass half full". He is a very optimistic and positive person and tries to help others see the good in life. He is rather protective of those close to him. He likes to joke around and laugh, but he also knows when he needs to be serious and can do so at the drop of a hat. He is a relaxed person and goes with the ebb and flow. He prefers to work for what he gets as he likes the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction of doing something yourself.
History: Ryder comes from quite a typical family. Nothing particularly traumatic happened in his life. His mother and father encouraged him to do his best in school. He has two younger sisters that he is protective of as the stereotypical big brother. He is currently post-graduate at the local college, working to become a doctor. He currently worked on a farm to help pay for his education. He enjoys his job and likes getting his hands dirty. He lives alone in a small apartment at the heart of the city.
Appearance: Ryder stands at a looming 6' 4". He has pleasant features topped off with a strong jawline. His lips were full and soft and constantly turned upward into a bright smile that showed his straight white teeth. His eyes were a warm, bright green and his hair was a smooth black. His hair was cut fairly short with just enough length to give it a tousled look. His skin had a rich tan from being out in the sun for long hours. He also had a well-toned body from hard labor. He had large, warm hands and strong arms.

Name: Alex Wade.
Age: All of twenty years.
Gender: She's physically female, but is gender-fluid.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: She's bisexual and is single.
Civilian or Hero: Hero.
- Special Ability: She has.. Freaky ambidextrous hand mojo. Her left hand has the power to wither people; it causes pain, ages, or steals a persons energy depending on the victim, while her right hand can heal. It's all very balanced as her abilities are constantly fighting one another. She can't heal herself of course, but because she's left handed it's instinctual for her to reach out and touch someone with the damaging hand.
- Weakness: Alex's weakness is her power itself. She can't touch anyone with her bare hands and thus resorts to wearing gloves at times. Her powers balance each other well, but if she touches someone with one hand and not the other, they only get the damage or healing that that hand offers. When she touches someone with both hands at once though, it hurts her. Another part of her weakness? She takes things to heart. If she kills or hurts someone by accident with her left hand, she can get depressed.
Personality: Alex is a pretty nice person, especially if she knows you. She can be pretty outgoing, the kind of person to work to get to know you, or she can be totally different, more reserved and closed. It depends on the day, on how she's feeling; on if she's in the Blue again. Alex suffers from depression sometimes, like some people do. When she gets really down, she calls it the Blue, because it's like everything in the world is a shade of that color. When she's out wearing her mask, she's invincible (or feels that way at least). She doesn't feel bad about her powers when she's using them for good, only when she hurts others by accident. It used to happen all of the time, but now the accidents are not as frequent.
One other thing you should know, is about her gender and sexuality. Alex is gender-fluid. Sometimes she feels like the woman she physically is- she loves being a female, dresses and acts like one, and is completely comfortable in her body. Other times though, Alex feels like a male on the inside, sometimes to the point that she gets frustrated at her lack of male parts. There are times that she feels like she is a mix of male and female, and times when she feels genderless. Her gender, being fluid, can change at any time, even though it stays female in her physical body. You'll be able to tell if she's feeling male or female by how she acts or speaks, and if she's a male, she prefers masculine pronouns (he, his, him) or her name, since Alex is gender-neutral. Her sexuality? She's bisexual.
Appearance: Alex. Alex's gloves.
Hers is a mask that covers her eyes- from just over her eyebrows to her cheekbones, but on the right side, half of a crescent moon goes up towards her hairline.
Name: Jackson "Jace" Michaels
Age: Twenty-three, just turned.
Gender: Male
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: None.
Civilian or Hero: Hero, all the way.
- Special Ability: Jackson's specialty is animals. He can communicate with animals and is able to partially shift. How much can he transform himself? It depends on how much energy he has left, but never fully.
- Weakness: Jace is susceptible to various things, depending on the animal he is currently a part of. If he's partially shifted as a wolf or other canine, strong smells can irritate him. As a feline, perhaps it's his hunting instincts that get in the way. He also has a period of time that he goes into rut, which is like going in to heat for female animals. Like an animal, during this time he experiences elevated aggression, hunger, and of course, sexual energy. It can be really annoying (for him and those he's attracted to), but also dangerous for him. If his head isn't in the game, so to speak, bad things can happen to him.
Personality: Jackson/Jace, called both by friends, is a pretty neat guy. Easygoing and friendly, he's easy to get along with. Once you're friends, he will never leave you, and that's not just the protectiveness talking. He likes to try and make friends, but he isn't always the best at it- even though he's good looking, he can be a little awkward. Ask him, he'll tell you he's an "awkward little turtle". He knows how to cut loose and have fun, unlike some of the other Heros. When he's rutting though, it's a different story. No longer is he the nice guy he normally is- he's angry and a hothead, a go-getter when it comes to men or women he's attracted to, and can be a dark, rough person.

Jackson's mask looks like this, but.. You know.. On him, not some girl.
Name: Blake Cole, but call him Cole.
Age: Twenty-five.
Gender: Male
Girlfriend: None, he's single.
Civilian or Hero: Civilian.
Personality: Cole doesn't get down and depressed; he gets angry and even. That's exactly what he wishes he could do to the Hero's too, but he knows that his regular-ness prevents it. Cole is a somber, brooding man, one that does his job because he understands the rules of the world that force him to. Knowing things doesn't help him though, because he's still a normal human being. He knows that he's not "special" like the so-called Heros are, but he doesn't let it bother him too much. Cole has a shell, then another, then another, then finally there is the real, vulnerable him. He's been burned pretty bad by the Heros, even if they don't know it, and by others before that which makes it hard for him to trust people, or to even be around them. Preferring seclusion to social situations, you can find Cole staying after hours at work or in his basement building things, the physical work with his hands the only thing that makes him really happy these days.
History: Cole grew up with a nice, loving family. He is the only son to two wonderful people, and was the older brother of a beautiful little sister, Claira. Was. Not that long ago, a couple of months ago actually, eight year old Claira's bus was hijacked on it's way to the students' homes. Claira was taken hostage and, before anyone could save her, was killed. Cole found out about it while away on leave with the Marine's. Though he knows it isn't really rational, Cole somewhat blames the Heros for this- after all, if they had started protecting everyone a few days sooner, Claira would still be alive.
Appearance: This is Cole. So is this.
Name: Kayla Matthews.
Age: Twenty-one.
Gender: Female.
Girlfriend: None, she's single.
Civilian or Hero: Civilian.
Personality: Depending on who she is with, Kayla can be pretty confident, or quiet and outspoken. She doesn't always know how someone will react to what she says or does, so she judges the situation before acting or reacting to something. She has learned that, even though she's pretty and is smart (and has a slight southern drawl), it's not always easy to find the right kind of girl. Out in the big city, she thought that her sexuality would be no problem. Rather, it's hard to find the sort of girl she'd take home to mom, if that was an option. Kayla is really smart and sweet, and loves to talk with people to get to know them. Get to know her, and you'll have a great friend.
History: Kayla has always been a little different. She never really fit in with the girls, always preferring the company of boys. When she was eighteen, she came out as a lesbian to her family. Her parents were very accepting of it, but word got around and she was shunned by parts of her small-town community. Eventually, Kayla decided it was time to do something with her life, so she moved. Now that she lives here, she attends college at a pretty high-end place, one that she can only go to because of her scholarships and wonderful test scores.

Name: Isaac Eli Brown
Age: 23
Gender: male

Civilian or Hero: Hero
- Special Ability: Isaac has sonar hearing. He can hear up to a mile away and even the tiniest sounds such as a spider crawling across the floor many rooms away. He can also direct movement via sonar and pin point where things are, which helps in hand to hand combat.
- Weakness: Isaac is blind, which is an obvious weakness for him. Although, his ability helps him tremendously, too loud of sounds or too quick of movement messes with his head leaving him unable to “see”. This leaves him extremely vulnerable
Personality: Isaac never lets his blindness affect him. At first it was a struggle for him, waking up to complete darkness not knowing anything but your name and purpose was a bit scary. However he quickly discovered that his abilities allowed him to “see” in a different way. Not only can he freely walk about completely aware of everything around him, but he can fight in combat without any problems. Isaac actually has the upper hand when fighting in the dark. Even though he can thrive without his sight doesn’t mean he doesn’t miss it. Isaac can’t remember seeing, but he has gotten random flash backs of images that leads him to believe that he wasn’t always blind. He’s quite a negative person and very bitter when anyone mentions his blindness or tries to help. He’s extremely sarcastic and doesn’t know when to shut up at times. That being said, Isaac is actually a good person. He cares about the people he loves and has grown fond of his fellow supers. He’s particularly overprotective and would easily take a bullet for friends.
History: Isaac can’t remember his previous life. He isn’t too sure if he was blind before the labs or after.
Appearance: Isaac is a tall and handsome young man. At full length he stands at about 6’3” and has obvious muscles due to all the long hard days of fighting crime. He has shaggy brown hair that falls over his cloudy grey eyes and is always a muss (mirrors are obviously useless for him). He’s hair isn’t too long, but longer than he would like. When off duty Isaac can be usually seen wearing headphones or a skull cap; anything that can cover his ears and give them a break. Isaac wears a black mask that only covers his eyes. The markings on them almost look like ripples that some – based on his gift – could guess are to resemble sound waves.
Name: Hailey Elizabeth Hall

- Special Ability: Hailey can dissolve her body, almost like making herself a ghost. This allows solid objects to pass through her without her feeling a thing. Hailey can also go through solid things such as walls by simply walking through them.
- Weakness: The mineral marcasite is Hailey’s “kryptonite”. With a fair amount of it, marcasite can neutralize her powers just by being near her. The closer she is to the mineral the more effect it has. Too close, and she can become fatally ill.
Personality: Hailey, being one of the younger of the heroes, is a bit new and naïve to the super world. She is a bit nervous around the other supers, but has warmed up to the majority of them. She takes direction well and tries to stay out of the way. However, if she knows someone is wrong or jeopardizes the group’s safety, she isn’t afraid to be vocal and speak up. There is part of Hailey that regrets her role of helping others and there are countless days she wishes she could live a “normal” life. Despite this, Hailey is grateful for her power and could never picture her life without them; not like she could remember pre-super life. Still, as a young person she struggles with finding herself and wondering if her told purpose is actually the right one. Given some time, Hailey will come to realize how important her role is and how meaningful her purpose is. All she needs is a taste of normality to keep her on the right path.
History: Hailey doesn’t remember her life before being super.
Appearance: Hailey is a medium height of 5’6” with typical female built. She has a fair amount of curve, but a bit more muscle due to consist physical demands that crime fighting requires. Along with muscle comes scrapes and bruises and not a day goes by that Hailey doesn’t have either of them. Her beautiful dark brown hair flows to her mid back, which she keeps in a side braid (It’s easier for her to fight in). She has soft hazel eyes that are framed by long side bangs. Although Hailey isn’t one for tanning – not like she would have the time anyway – she doesn’t have a tannish glow to her skin. She wears a black eye mask that is complete with small dots and swirls. Hailey also likes to wear different color nail polish usually various shades of blacks and greys. It helps her feel a little bit normal.
Name: Juliet Marie Roberts

Personality: Juliet is a young and ambitious woman. She is fresh out of college and has recently moved to the city. Having graduated majoring in journalism, Juliet inspires to become a news reporter on TV, but for the time being has settled for writing weekly columns for the city’s newspaper. Being new to the city, Juliet is more of a homebody and spends a good majority of her time sitting at home in her apartment writing; although she has befriended some coworkers and neighbors and enjoys getting out on the weekends. Not to mention that exploring the city is one of her favorite pass times. Being an up and coming reporter, Juliet is always were the action is.; hoping to catch the perfect story that will help her climb up in the rankings. Although generally sweet and friendly, Juliet can be pushy and stubborn. She has had her heart broken a few times and isn’t so keen on letting guys in so easily.
History: Juliet comes from a small town in California. Growing up with an author as a mother and an English teacher as a father writing was always an important aspect in Juliet’s life and lead her to pursue a career in journalism. Moving to the big city was the first time Juliet has really lived on her own. She went to a small liberal arts school just a few hours away from her parent’s home so living by herself is something she’s still getting used to. She is very career minded at the moment and will let nothing stop her from chasing her dream of becoming a reporter.
Appearance: Juliet is a petit blond that stands about 5’3”. The woman has a young face and a little bit of curve to her figure making her appear younger than she actually is. She has bright blue ocean eyes that pop against her fair skin. Juliet can usually be seen wearing natural looking light eye shadow and a thin line of eye liner on her eye lids that make her look more her age. Although she had beautiful long golden blond hair, Juliet usually has it up in a ponytail or bun to give her a professional look.

Name: Eve O'Malley Age: 24 Gender: Female Boyfriend/Girlfriend: She doesn't care what you are, but she is currently single. Civilian or Hero: Hero - Special Ability: Eve can get into people's heads. She can do various things with this power, depending on the subject's strength of will. Effects range from causing extreme pain to controlling body parts to sometimes (if the subject is particularly weak-willed) reading and sending thoughts. - Weakness: Eve is particularly susceptible to high-pitched noise. Even stuff like TV static and gears whirring will cause her to wince. A dog whistle is enough to incapacitate her. Personality: Eve is a little uptight. She's very analytic and will only do something if she thinks it's "logical." Because of this, she has a strong distaste for half the Heroes she's supposed to work with; honestly, she doesn't know how these children were supposedly police. She's the kind that thinks she's superior because of her intelligence and will act like she's above some others. Cynical, sarcastic, and stubborn, Eve isn't exactly a joy to be around if provoked (although the provocation may something petty or unintentional) but really she just wants to be liked just like everyone else. She tells herself she doesn't care, but really she does. When it comes to being a Hero, she's honestly a little annoyed by small crimes, but when it comes to big plots and things she can put her mind to, nothing else will give her a bigger thrill. However, when it comes to fighting the bad guys she can be a little sadistic, getting a little too much pleasure from causing pain. History: Eve thinks she may have worked as some kind of police intelligence in her past life, but other than that, everything's a blank. It frustrates her. Appearance: Eve isn't particularly pretty. She's got thin, pale lips, sunken cheeks, and harsh gray eyes. Her nose is rigidly straight and her entire face gives off a snobby air. Her body is lean from Hero work, naturally, but stands at a meager 5'4". Her hair is long and black, and would be sorta pretty is she bothered to do anything with it, but she keeps it in a tight bun at all times. Her mask is simple and black, but with tips that jut out and curl at her temple. Name: Aaron John Fredrickson. Sometimes people call him AJ. Age: 20 Gender: Male Girlfriend: Nah Civilian or Hero: Hero, baby. - Special Ability: He has superspeed. Pretty straightforward. - Weakness: He has a heart weakness due to the extreme pressures superspeed demands. If he looses too much energy, it could get bad for him. Personality: Aaron is very outgoing. He likes to have fun and not much else. (Luckily for the Heroes, huntin' bad guys is fun for him.) He laughs about pretty much everything, which can be rude at times, and will tease anyone and anything. Sometimes he doesn't know when to stop and because of this people tend to really love him or really hate him. He tries to be a big macho dude, but really he's a big softie whose feelings are hurt very easily. He doesn't like to show any "weak" emotions and will usually try to make things into a joke before it gets too serious. Also he thinks his hair is, like, super-hot. Coincidentally, his favorite drink is Apple Juice. Overall, think comic book Spider-Man. History: He doesn't know nor does he care. Appearance: I got lazy. His mask juts out into a point at the top and has red streaks.

She can create it, stop it, and use it to her will. - Weakness: Naturally, her weakness is water. If enough is thrown on her, it can douse her powers and she can't use them until she's completely dry. Personality: Serena is a hothead. She's not easy to get along with and tends to keep to herself rather than speak to others. She doesn't enjoy conversation and is most often silent in social situations, which can understandably be a little awkward for others. She's extremely stand-offish and tends to be rash, letting her emotions control her rather than using her head. However, she is also easily amused and if someone can make her laugh, they're more likely to be able to make her more amiable toward them. The tends to be impartial to anybody of acquaintance but can be a warm person to intimate friends, especially in the comfort of their home. She doesn't often listen to reason when angry and can cause more problems for herself without thinking. History: She doesn't exactly remember. Appearance: Serena has long, thick, scarlet hair that tumbles to her thighs in loose waves. She keeps it in a braid for convenience and tends to pin back her bangs.
