It was pretty obivous he was seeking tutoring, but Kevin answered her question anyway. "Yeah." He glanced up at this teacher making sure she wasn't paying attention before looking back at Kris. "What do you say?" He asked, refering to her tutoring.

Zoe laughed when he said he had to clean up her room, a little snort slipping through. "What's the point?" she asked. "It'll only get messy again twice as fast. And besides, messiness gives me inspiration." When he winced, she only smiled. "Oh come on, I saw you checking him out. I'm not going to yell at you or anything." She flopped backwards on her bed at his change of subject. "I don't think you could group me with 'most girls'. And even if I wanted to do that, I would have to let free the all-too-familiar sigh of 'too bad, he's gay'. And yes, yes I am. It's not like they'll kick me out or anything. The worst I'll get is a detention."

Kristen smiled a little at the way Kevin looked when she asked if he needed tutoring. She figured he probably knew that she knew the answer. "Yeah, uh, sure," she said, nodding as she looked at him. "What all do you need help with, where do you want to meet, and when?" she asked, making a list in her head.
Luke grinned as Zoe laughed, snorting a little as she did. It was just so cute. "The point is, I don't even know if you have a floor. Look at that," he said, gesturing to a particularly large pile of stuff, "There could be some kid trapped under that, and we wouldn't even know." When she said the mess inspired her, he flexed. "I could be your inspiration," he said with a wink, grinning. "Yeah, well, I'm missing practice," he murmured, but was obviously not upset about it. When the subject turned to Chris, he sighed, relaxing his muscles somewhat. "Yeah, well, that's just it; I was only checking him out. I can only check him out," he said glumly. "There aren't any other gay guys here, you know?" he said, eyes looking somewhere far away, longing in them. "When I left home to come here, I thought.. I don't know, that things would be different somehow. That I'd be more than sports-star-jock-dude. That I'd be Luke, and that someone, the right someone, would see that, and.." he trailed off, shaking his head. "Anyway, at least I have you, Z," he said, smiling now. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Kevin opened his mouth to reply to her questions when the teacher shushed him. Kevin sighed before scribbling down '9:30' and '@ the library'. He tore off the piece of paper from his notebook, accidently tearing off some of his doodle as well. He tapped Kristen on the shoulder before passing her the note.

Zoe turned over onto her stomach and turned herself around so that she was facing him, propping her head in her hands. "There's actually a dead body under there," she said. "I use that for inspiration too." Zoe then gave a laughing sigh, if that's even possible. "I'm sorry I'm making you miss the most important subject offered at this most prestigious of schools," she replied, her voice dripping with teasing sarcasm. Her laugh disappeared when he began to get more serious, the humorous light in his eyes extinguishing. "Me to, Lukie," she said with a half smile. "But... maybe if you came out, someone would be interested? I mean, what if there's someone else here like you, just waiting in their deep dark closet for someone to open the door? (...That was a weird metaphor, sorry.) If they knew you were gay, maybe you'll get approached."

Having been shushed by the teacher, Kris rolled her eyes, flipping the woman the bird when she turned back to writing on the board. Looking back at Kevin again, she saw that he had written her a note, which she took and read. Nodding to herself, as well as to Kevin so he would know that she was accepting. She noticed then that there was something else on the note- a part of the drawing he had been working on. Examining it with a close eye, she eventually smiled to herself; he was good. Really good. She told him so, too, by writing it on the note, with an arrow to the drawing. Suddenly realizing how bored she was, she sighed inwardly. When was this friggen class going to end?
Luke sat in silence for a moment, thinking over what his friend had said. "Maybe you're right. I just don't want things to be like they were back home, you know?" he said, even though she probably didn't. He cracked a smile, then, grinning at her. "Lukie?" he asked, one brow raised. "Really?"

"Yeah," Zoe said, not having anything else to say about the subject. She thought for a moment, debating whether to bring up something else before her curiosity overwhelmed her. "What do you think of the disappearance of Diana Macduff?" she asked. "It's starting to worry me a little." Diana was the third Astre Redieux to disappear in the past year, with Iana Forester and George Redding. Diana had had a very unstable family, the newspaper had said, but what about the other two? Most people dismissed it as a coincidence, or an outcome of the publicity acquired from becoming an Astre Redieux, but none of their bodies had been found. "Strange, isn't it?"

((Haha it's all good. Copying's the highest form of flattery right? )) The bell rang and Kevin quickly got to his feet. "See you later." He told Kris before heading out of the hall. Ross caught Kevin's comment and hurried to catch up with the boy. "What was that all about?" He asked as he shifted the weight of his backpack. "Ah nothing, just got myself a tutor." He smirked. Ross glanced back just in time to see Kirs existing the classroom. "Her?" He asked, a little surprised that Kris had offered to help Kevin; the girl had a rep. of being a loner. "Yup." Kevin said casually, ignoring Ross's surprised tone. "Well I gotta' get going. Art's next." He smirked again before taking off down the hall, heading for the art wing of the school.

Luke sighed, closing his eyes as he laid back on the bed, his arms behind his head. "Diana?" He said, but he knew what Z was talking about. "I'm sire it's nothing, Zoe. People run away, go missing, all that all the time. Nothing to worry about." the boy said, though he didn't believe it himself. Like her, he thought it was odd, and it kind of worried him. He didn't want her to know that though, lest she fret over it all the time. "'Sides, didn't she have problems at home? When things suck there, it's nice to get away for a while," he said, hating that he sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He didn't want that. "Don't worry about it, okay?"
"See yah," Kris mumbled as Kevin and his friend Ross slid past her into the hall. She kept her head down as she left, aware that the two boys were speaking about her just a few paces ahead. She said nothing about it though, instead heading out to her next class- writing. Since that's what she was here for, anyway, she decided not to skip. Plus, if she was honest with herself, she loved the class. The teacher, the work, everything. With a soft smile directed to herself and the ground, she headed that way, but stopped outside of the library, where she posted her poster.

[Definitely. Problem guys, I forget why the evil headmaster dude was evil.] Zoe tried to listen to what Luke was saying, but took it with a grain of salt. And but taking it with a grain of salt she really metaphorically buried it in salt, meaning she really didn't think it was a coincidence. How could it be? "Alright, you've saved me from all worries," she said, deadpan. "My hero." She didn't believe he thought so either, but knowing him, he would soon forget in the pursuit of a gay lover. A very loud beeping from her bedside clock interrupted the conversation, which was then also interrupted by her fist. "Time for art class!" she sang. Her books were in her bag on the sidetable, ready to go. (This was the only class she was actually ever prepared for. She has a whole timer set up and everything. She usually skipped first class.) "I must go, mi amor," she called as she ran out the door and down the hall, aiming for sappy romantic drama. "Do not forget me! Wait for me forever!!" Usually it was "I will wait for you forever," but seeing as she was the one leaving... Anyways, she got to art class, got out her things, and went to work. They were doing a review on composition, and by composition they meant draw the most intense thing you can using all the rules we've gone over and use perspective to the high heavens. Due next class. Coincidentally, that Kevin kid was sitting next to her. She got slightly bored halfway through the class and began to stare at his drawing with passionate interest, a.k.a. she didn't like her own drawing and was trying to steal ideas from her unfortunate classmate.

Kevin got lost in his work as soon as he got to art class. It was the one class he was good at. Extremely good at in fact. The assignment was perspectives to high heavens and Kevin was busy painting away. It was a breath-taking piece, composed of a wide baby blue sky with soft rolling clouds above a huge open grassy field. To the right of the painting a half drawn barn sat, complete with tiny little cows and sheep grazing. The painting looked amazing, almost perfect even. Except for one thing; the giant alien spaces ships drawn in the baby blue sky. Heavens were close to space right? And space meant aliens. It was only natural for him to add some humeral twist to his work. Kevin was in the middle of drawing a cow being beamed up by a space ship when he noticed a pair of eyes staring at his work. He glanced at Zoe, the girl who sat beside him, and grinned. "Take a picture, it will last longer." He told her, his voice full of tease. "I see you've made a dent in your work." He muttered noticing that she hadn't completed much on her own painting.

Without a word, she reached into her bag, pulled out a camera, and snapped a picture of his painting. "Thanks," she said, after a millisecond of awkwardness. "I'll put it in my inspiration scrapbook." She turned back to her own painting and narrowed her eyes. Leaning heavily on her arm, she wiped her brush on a paper towel to get the excess paint off. "Alas, I have already used up all my creative juices for the morning. And extreme perspective is just so fun, you know?" Her painting was of a girl running gown a dark hallway. The perspective was tilted down so that it was like you were looking up at her, her feet huge and her head tiny. The skirt of her dress billowed out behind her and her arms pumped furiously, the walls faintly lit ahead. You could tell what it was only because she had put down the basic colors. The details had yet to be finished, and a large portion of the wall remained white. Zoe itched her forehead. A brown smear remained. She ignored it and glanced over at Kevin, asking, "Do you always have to make your paintings funny?"

Kevin raised a brow when Zoe actually took out a camera and snapped a picture of his painting. He had only meant the pharse as a joke, he didn't realize she would take him seriously. "Your welcome?" He shook his head as he watched the girl beside him examine her own work. "Not too bad for someone who claims their creative juices are all used up." He liked the downward perspective on the girl, although he wondered where he had gotten the idea for her painting. He blinked at her question, zoning back in. "Huh? Oh I guess not. Art is about expressing yourself and being true to who you are." He shrugged. "Or some crap like that." Leave it to Kevin would take something wise and sentimental and add 'or some crap like that' to the end of it. "'Guess I'm just funny." That's when he looked up and noticed the smear on Zoe's face. He snored, running a hand through his head. "Not as funny as you though." Kevin debated whether or not to tell her that she had paint on her face. Of course he decided against it.

Having nothing better to do, Luke watched as his friend left him on her bed, obviously in a hurry to get to the only class she actually enjoyed. The young man stood, stretching lazily as he thought about his upcoming class- math. He didn't enjoy math, even though he wasn't too bad at it. He was a pretty average student, with a few great scores thrown in, but was nothing in comparison to some of the brains at the school. With a soft sigh, he ran a hand over his face, walking out of her room and into the dorm hall. He couldn't hear her feet pattering away anymore, he realized as his mouth quirked upwards on one side. She was quick, and not only on her feet. Shaking his head a little, Kyle began walking to class, the smile never fully leaving his face..
--
"Ugh, her hair is just so... ugh!" Aphrodite wanted to roll her eyes, wanted to sigh and pull her hair out and scream, but instead, she just smiled a vicious little smile. "Exactly. That's why you should take her under your wing, Jess," Aphrodite said, tilting her head a little and putting on a worried expression. "After all, if you don't, who will?" With that, she turned and walked away, her eyes straight ahead. She knew that, if the Jess girl took the oh-so-hopeless Haley in, she would be dooming both girls to eternal loserdom, but she couldn't make herself care at the moment. Instead, she walked to the nearest bathroom and pulled out her cellphone, only to listen to a not-so-nice message from her mother. She didn't want to hear it, and even tried to make herself just delete it, but instead she poured over it, taking in every word, memorizing tone and everything. She said nothing when it was finished, automatically pushing the little number key that would save the message, just like she always did. She glanced up then and was startled by her reflection. She looked beautiful, as usual, but her eyes were haunted and sad. She looked at herself, searching in a stunned silence, before clearing her throat and patting her hair. After applying a new layer of lip stuff, she left the bathroom, walking easily to her next class- science.
--
Kris arrived at English, and took her seat at the back of the room. The teacher, Mr. Daniel, was a great guy, and she really enjoyed the class. Of course, she didn't show it in any way other than the fact that she always did her work, but what more could someone ask of her? She glanced around and saw that no one else was in the room yet, so she took out her spiral notebook and began writing a poem.
--
Kyle walked easily towards his second hour class, Spanish I, a smile on his face. He didn't feel one way or another towards the class, but he enjoyed most of the people inside of it, even if they were a little.. Well.. Daft. They meant well, right? Even those that used the translator or just left things blank had good intentions, he figured. He wasn't so sure, though, about the ones that wrote "taco" on everything. With that thought he arrived, and took a seat towards the middle of the room.

Jenna scurried into her Spanish class right as the bell rang. Spanish was her least favorite out of all her classes, however, it did give her time to update her blog. She had some new ideas for layouts and after talking with Kyle in the library that morning, Jenna was considering write another blog post about movies - or a more "fun" topic. Who knows? Maybe it would attract more people. Maybe more people would like it. Like her. Sighing, Jenna sat down in her seat, dropping her bag beside her. She didn't realized that it wasn't closed and a few books and pencils rolled out. "Great" She muttered before beginning to pick them up.
"This seat taken?" Cassia asked Ross as she stood beside the lab table. Ross looked up from his world history textbook, to see a small brunette staring down at him. Without saying a word, he motioned to the spot beside him, silently inviting her to join him. Ross was focusing back on his reading about Hans Dynasty when his attention got redirected. He raised an eyebrow as Aphrodite walked into the room, looking damn gorgeous as always. Ross whistled silently to himself. Cassia looked up from uppacking her stuff catching Ross's face. She frowned already knowing who had just walked in based on the expression on the boy's face; Aphrodite. She rolled her eyes mumbling a "spare me." Before sitting down in her seat, waiting for class to begin.

Kyle had put his headphones on, listening to one of his favorite talk shows before the bell rang, when something hit his shoe. Glancing down, he noticed that two pencils had made their way to his desk, and had bumped into his shoe. "Oh," he said softly, bending down to pick them up while pushing the headphones from his ears. He looked up then, trying to see whose they were, and noticed Jenna. "Hey Jenna, are these yours?" he asked, smiling. He had just seen her before first hour in the library, but had to admit that he was glad to see her again, even though he knew she didn't like this class. "Here you go," he said, handing them gently to her. He offered them up, arm extended, a smile on his face.
As Aphrodite came in, she noticed Ross and Cassia, as Ross was staring at her. She flashed him a smile, waving a little, before coming to sit at the lab table next to him, which happened to be empty. "Hey Ross," she said, leaning over so he could partly see down her shirt as she said it. With that, she returned her attention to the front of the room. Or at least, it seemed that way. Really, she was replaying her mothers message to her in her head, over and over.

Jenna looked up when she heard Kyle's voice. "Oh hey." She said lamely, her cheeks turning a light pink. She wasn't sure why she was blushing, but immediately felt embarrassed. "Thanks" She muttered, allowing some of her blonde locks to fall in her face and cover her view of Kyle. She took her pencils from Kyle and her heart sped up when her fingers momentarily grazed over his. That only caused her cheeks to redden. "Señorita Goodman?" Their Spanish Señora Lopez asked. Jenna looked up, even more so embarrassed - if that even was possible. "Ah sorry." She placed her pencil on her desk, hoping no one could see her face. "Lo siento." Señora Lopez corrected her before turning to the board and asking the students to take out their homework.
Being a typical teenage boy Ross was, he had a hard time taking his eyes off a certain area on Aphrodite. "Hey Aphrodite." His voiced cracked at 'Aphrodite' and he cleared his voice nonchalantly, turning his attention on the teacher, trying to act cool. Cassia rolled her eyes and snorted. Teasing guys came second nature to Aphrodite and it was kind of humorous watching guys drool over her. The way they melted when she spoke to them always gave her laugh. She was surprised that no one was sitting besides the teen model-looking girl, but she could tell in the way Ross sat that he was dying to sit next to her. She watched him carefullly, examining the way he debated what to do. The class was still settling down, which gave him time to move... "Alright class. Turn to page 42." Darn, too late for that move. Ross had wasted time thinking rather than acting; a common mistake Cassia noticed people made. She sighed turling a pencil in her hand as she flipped casually through her textbook until she reached the right page.
