How have you been?
Probably not chatted in a while, if ever.
It seems like all of our lives are moving so quickly in different directions, that we never get a chance to just sit down and chat with each other, Shoutbox or no Shoutbox.
Anyway, if you are new here, even as just a guest, welcome. I know joining a new group can be a bit terrifying, but I can promise that, once you join, you will have lots of crazy fun, even if all you do is read.
We are kind to all who visit and join. All we ask is that you just follow the rules. I will openly state that a lot of us, myself included, knew each other on a different site, which was only created due to another site becoming paid only. But we are always open to new members.
This site, itself, has had its ups and downs. We always seem to find a way to rise from the ashes. Saddest thing is, "for one to rise from the ashes, there must first be ashes". That was a paraphrasing from the movie Source Code. To catch a glimpse at how the site was before one session of revival, please refer to the Archives section here.
Anyway, onto a less grim topic. Pirate, the site's Administrator, has created a Twitter account for any interesting updates, or if you just want to be crazy and random as I have done on multiple occasions. This is also linked on her profile page.
Just so everyone knows, this is not a "farewell message". I just wanted to post this to, hopefully, get a chat session going.

Okay, new idea. tosses hat behind him. hundreds of little papers fly out. What do you all want to talk about? Besides the fact that someone switched my chat ideas out with fortune cookie leaflets. Honestly, I blameBob for that. Before we start, I would like to congratulate Pirate again for getting into college. I am sure we all wish her the best of luck in her endeavors there.
