Carlisle shrugged at what Yanta said, glancing in the direction Lilly had gone. "She'll be okay." He shook his head, giving the other man a reassuring smile. "It's not intruding. We'd love a guest. It gets a little lonely out here." He smiled in triumph when Yanta accepted his offer, gesturing him to follow as he began the trek back to the house. "You won't regret it." When they reached his home, he led Yanta inside and gestured toward the living room. "If you don't mind sitting in there, I'll get dinner started and be out and just a moment. He disappeared into the kitchen and returned ten minutes later, plopping down on a couch. "So where do you live?" Carlisle asked curiously.
Roice shook his head as Strorce asked his permission. "I don't mind. I'm sure Yanta would like to see a friendly face. I'm sure he's had a busy day." Anna smiled and glanced at the Earth wizard. "We'll leave when you're finished," she said with a small giggle at all the food the man had ordered.

Yanta sits and looks at Carlisle. "I live in the town outside this forest. I was at the bakery, getting ready to order some bread, when I overheard talk of the Air elemental from a couple of people in the bakery. I couldn't let this information go too far, lest I risk our existence be revealed." He smiles a bit. "Funny thing, Melena had taught me about battling an elemental not long before I found out I was low on bread. I feel almost as if it was fate that I ran into those people in the bakery."
Strorce smiles and nods. He finishes his last slice. "Have to eat a lot. It goes towards muscle building. At least, that's what coach always said. It's worked out so far." He stands and looks at Roice and Anna. "Shall we be off?" Strorce waits for them to stand and lead him to their house.

Carlisle raised his eyebrows at the story. "Seems lucky. It looks like if he got any further, he might have tried to blow my house off the map." A loud beeping from the kitchen caused him to rise to his feet. "That's dinner." He went in and turned off the alarm, pulling the casserole out of the oven and setting it on the table. "Dinner's up!" he called, bringing silverware and plates to the table. A few moments after he called, Lilly appeared, settling reluctantly at the table. She would have preferred to eat in her room, but Carlisle was a stickler about "eating as a family".
Anna rolled her eyes at Strorce. "You eat way more than a lot." When he was ready to go, Anna jumped to her feet and led the way, flitting in front of them as if she were as light as air. When they arrived at their home, Anna pushed open the door and her father followed after her. "Would you like any tea?" Roice asked, turning toward their guest.

Yanta stands and walks over to the table. He silently takes a seat, not wanting to bring up any more bad memories for Lilly. He still felt somewhat responsible for Lilly storming off, even though Carlisle had said otherwise. Yanta wanted to know more about Carlisle and Lilly, but he didn't want to ask the wrong questions.
Strorce shakes his head as he answer Roice's question. "Thank you for the offer, but I don't like tea." He tried to be as polite as possible when he said it. "I really can't explain why, but I'm the one person in a million that doesn't like the taste of tea." He looks around a bit. "Is it safe to talk in here?" Strorce knew that it was Roice's house, but he didn't know if anything had the chance of listening in.
